Hey guys!

Like some of you, I actually am a big fan of Urgot pre-rework. I am also a bigger fan of pre-change Lore (I liked the Institute of War).

With his upcoming rework, I just want to point out some things I want to see when Urgot's lore comes up.

What I want to see kept:

Urgot

  1. Garen cut him in half whiel rescuing Jarvan. (this makes for good and funny interactions between Urgot and Garen, and also I think everyone likes a good revenge story)
  2. Zaunites helped in reviving him with Hextech. (We already have Sion as the Magic Zombie, I hope we get Urgot as the Frankenstein's monster) 3 Urgot is persistent and doesn't care about lost limbs. (read his old lore, it makes him sound like a very menacing killer on the prowl. I liek that about his fantasy)

What about you guys, what do like about current Urgot lore-wise that you'd like to translate to his new iteration? [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Overall I'd hope that Urgot is this time around actually somehow still alive and not undead. Because him being undead would kinda feel like a repeat from Sion(just with hextech instead of magic) and I'd say it is actually even more terrifying if he was still alive.

Though for him to be actually alive,it would mean that he received his wounds in Zaun(or at least very close to it),I mean if he was rebuilt in Noxus, then it'd be questionable why we don't see noxian technology more often. If thats the case though, then it'd be pretty sure that he wasn't cut down by Garen(maybe by Camille instead?)

Would kinda love it if the glorious evolved actually rescued him with Viktors technology, heck maybe Urgot is even responsible for their creation. I mean if Viktor manages to revive someone with his tech, then it is no surprise that he'd be seen as a religious figure.

My preference for his new lore: Not undead anymore. Instead he is a living chembaron from Zaun, but terminally ill. He is using the advanced technology to stay alive because he fears death, even if that means that he becomes completely dependant on a machine.

While the undead abomination from Noxus is cool, I think it is already well represented with Sion. I understand the difference between the magical zombie and the frankenstein monster, but I prefer the version I presented because of some reasons.

  1. We already know that chembarons make use of augmentations for their employees. Would be nice to see a chembaron using augmentations, think about the baron in Camilles comic.
  2. We don't have the trope of someone being infected with a deadly disease, trying to stay alive no matter the costs.
  3. Like you mentioned with Garen, it gives opportunity for nice interactions. Especially Ekko comes to mind. Urgot would be the representation of literally everything he hates and what's going wrong in Zaun.
  4. The Frankenstein theme is at least partially already represented in Warwick. Artificially created monster by Singed, haunting the streets of Zaun.

Unfortunately I get the feeling that it won't turn out like that, but that would be the perfect recreation for Urgot in my eyes...

Urgot is a good opportunity to explore Zaun and Noxus relations. I'm not too sure about his character.
