When Qiyana does it, it's obnoxious, but when Camille does it, it's classy

If you think about it, they're both always saying the same thing. The only difference is that Camille is older and uses fancier words.

Qiyana is a narcissistic bitch who lacks even the basics of empathy. She used her own people's safety as bargain chip to make her own sister suffer because Qiyana thinks she deserves to rule. If Qiyana ever gets Ixtal throne, she would erase her own kingdom because she lacks forsights and doesn't care for the best of her own people. You are right, Camille IS arrogant, but she also sacrifices so much for her family and Piltover. She let herself bind by the traditions of her family clan, choosing it over her lover, and does that she thinks is the best thing for her clan and Piltover. She doesn't handle for her own personal gain.

Champion trashtalking isn't something new. But Qiyana is just a goddamit narcissist which deserve to lose everything and never got to actual power because she would leave her kingdom in ruins.

Wtf does skin color have to do with this?? Have you read the lore for both these characters? The reason people think Qiyana is obnoxious is because she's a narcissistic sociopath, that'd happily sacrifice her people without batting an eyelash if it meant she'd get her way.

It has nothing to do with skin color dude, so stop trying to make it about skin color.

Judging by their killing sprees in my games, they're both extremely capable.~~That said I think they show two similar characters. One is mature and has life experience while the other is simply spoiled to the point she has yet to mature. Give it a few years I bet Qiyana has a lot more in common with Camille.

Camille got her fair share of trashtalking for her attitude. I personally had some friends who downright begged me not to play her when I group up with them, simply because they couldn't stand her always talking like this.

A funny thing is that I find Qiyana more interesting and alive because of her arrogance.

Take Lux, for example. Not only she is a prodigy who kinda was born as a superpowerful mage, who is also rich, who is also coddled and loved by everyone, from a psycho terrorist Sylas to a stone gargoyle Galio but also she is that super nice super perfect girl that the plot itself bends to her nicety.

Qiyana, on the other hand, is a gifted mage too but she is also very spoiled, very arrogant and full of herself because she knows that she is a prodigy and she believes she deserves the best. It's logical she would be that way. That gives her character some refreshing balance and makes her more entertaining because she may be perfect in her use of elemental magic and combat but she causes more friction as she goes - as someone of her abilities is** expected to cause. **

You have it backwards. Qiyana's quotes don't make her obnoxious--they reinforce her obnoxiousness from the lore. Camille's quotes reinforce who she is. Yes, she uses fancier words because she's better educated and has been around longer, but she's also not a pretentious brat that has an ego the size of the moon.
