I think the upcoming ADC might be a Lunari.
There's an interesting distinction in Pantheon's special interactions. He has a First Encounter line for Diana... but then, a separate First Encounter line labeled as being for any Lunari.
Which can only mean one of three things:
- It's a simple mistake. Skin Spotlights isn't flawless, and even in this very video they accidentally kept Soraka's name up during the interaction for Taric.
- It's only for Diana, Zoe... and Soraka, who it seems is going to be retconned into a Lunari figure. Which would be nice, considering that she's been in need of a rewrite since the Warwick update.
- It's for the new champion. Which is what I'm hoping, and makes some sense with the single teaser image we have so far, which is a very moonlight-like blast of energy.
Granted, it could be both 2 and 3. But I don't think they'd make a generic Lunari line while at the same time having separate lines for Diana, Zoe, and Soraka unless it's specifically due to the fact the new champion doesn't have a name yet.
's lore was updated last year. Although making her a Lunari figure isn't impossible and there wouldn't be a need for a rewrite for this to happen, it's not as though she doesn't already have lore.
