Am i just behind on this, like was this already discussed and settled? My friend sent this to me and i didnt see anything on this on the Boards at least. While i see the similarities (the poses are a bit too similar) i think they are different enough where i wouldn't call it ripped off. Maybe inspired by, perhaps even based off of, in which case Riot should tell everyone where they got their design from.

EDIT: As it turns out there are several posts about this haha my bad, but i want to be clear i am not bashing on Riot here. Like i said above, there is enough difference for it not to be a problem but just enough similarity for it to warrant some sort of comment on the matter.

....there are like 3 other threads about this,just sort your threads by "recent" or "hot" and scroll down a bit...

Anyway,I agree that they are different enough,but I think that even if riot got some inspiration from that(maybe even unknowingly),they can't admit it at this point since people would jump at it and claim that riot stole the character design(some are doing that already despite the fact that there isn't much evidence about that)

So I came in expecting a flame post but after reading the argument, it's nice to see that somebody came up with a peaceful solution and aren't just trying to roast Riot. I will definitely upvote. Hopefully Chiara can work something out and I really like the idea of her designing a skin in cooperation with Riot.

Honestly its a bit hypocritical of her to be upset with the similarities between her work and Riot's, when someone just as easily accuse her of heavily borrowing from Hayao Miyazaki.
