This is a guy who doesn't play League or have any real passing interest in the game itself but trust me - this guy loves lore. He's a huge Touhou fanatic. And if his response to lore is essentially 'why are these bios pretty much the same' that's bad.

It's just hilarious to me how there were comments that Riot's Narrative felt constrained by the League of Legends and had to jettison it because all the champ bios ended up the same where 'and then they joined the Reague of Regends.'

Wait, but GP doesn't wander around? I mean, he's pretty set in Bilgewater. I guess you could consider pirate excursions 'wandering', but thats a stretch. And I don't think Tahm really wanders either. He's just kind of... where he wants to be, when he wants to be there.

And yes, this is the League of LEGENDS. Being a badass is kind of necessary. I don't think the "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Bob Over There" has the same ring to it.

they aren't champ bios, they are summaries to help people get a general feel for the character; the full bios aren't out yet; people, stop criticizing summaries as if they are full bios

well lets be fair the back stories seems to be hard to make at least Leblanc is trying to increase the power of the black rose and Lissandra has a plot to rule the frejlord

I agree. I feel like something in everyone's lore needs to compel them to join the League. Whether that be for vengeance or destruction or simply stated because they had a gut feeling.It sucks that Riot SAYS to post crap on here and everyone reads it and blah blah blah. But I think a lot of people are gonna have to ask for more lore/take the surveys that rito has every month or so. I love knowing the lore of the champions because I feel like it just kinda makes the champion more personal. Idk, I really enjoy a good lore.
