Im pretty sure story wise Yordles have been pretty left out the picture

Yordles are incapable of being grimdark, and so Riot doesn't give a damn about them. Happy, fairytale stories don't sell in modern society, since everyone is some hormonally-charged teenager in disguise who needs sad, morbid stories to enjoy themselves.

I could come up with some dark events related to yordles that would sell and STILL make the right yordles look like the good guys and the right yordles look like bad guys.

But that's just me. I'm no rioter.

They will but when is the question, The gave some hint, Illaoi refer to then as spirits who inspire man, Poppy could be centuries old, also Kennen too, TahmKench is an enemy of every yordles (expect Veigar ) and we don't know how bandle city look anymore, the old arts are no longer accurate.

Was there a Riot post that stated Kennen might be older than we expect him to be? I've heard of such a post existing; however, I have yet to see it. Curious.

If i remember right in jhin extended lore q&a people were talking how old akali and shen where since shen think akali is still too young, i'm not sure about the details but someone ask how old is kennen compare to akali and a rioter said he is way older.
