I thought the voting on the Illoai skin was nice. But I think we need to create a form of Kickstarter to decide on skins. In otherwords, you should let people vote with blue essence on skins they intend to purchase. This shouldn't be the case on everything, but every once in awhile, let people vote with skin in the game.

RookPusher1 votesIt sounds bad, but it would be the only way to give undervalued champs skins. If you're a trashcan of the month Main then the skin game is good for you. If you play any champ with a non-anime bent then this system gives you a lot more options.

No it wouldn't because niche champs have fewer players and thus fewer sources of BE. Yasuo would undoubtedly win a contest like this.

Furor Nexis1 votesThe most immediate problem with that is, like the weakness Kickstarter suffers from, any failed projects / losing votes would have to be sorted manually to return the cost to the player. That would take up a far longer time than necessary since it'd be too risky to automate it, costing players their BE.
