Am I the only one who things she needs to be more menacing in the splash art? What is Classic Nami? Shallow Nami?

I think her more harmless expression actually makes her kinda creepy looking,especially because she is so fricking big.
i dont like the in-game model and wish they went with a different concept. but whoever did this splash art ..
it makes me feel like nami is confused and curious as to what that little thing is in the water. Almost like first contact before a decision to run or eat is made.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they are taking any significant suggestions, or responding to criticism with more than "We like it this way".
I think a big part of it is the personality of the character. Nami's not mean nor does she try to be menacing. I think this is as 'dark' as we can get from Nami without breaking character. Unless they release a 'bad end' skin with a page of lore explaining how she became a villain or something.
