Dear Riot Art Department
I'm both appalled and unimpressed with your decisions and lack of sympathy.
You are doing both no justice, nor getting any favoritism from anyone after this.
If anything, there is too much definition in a splash that doesn't need to look serious. And there is something good about using lighter colors, it makes it feel more cold or warm (depending on the picture). If its very vivid, like this one, it losing its feeling and its just the image.
Its also almost impossible to recreate a image if you don't use the same tools that were used on the first.
Now, in my own sentiments, if all you're doing is making a duplicate of a splash art... Then just stop. You basically waisted your time and resources (and money) by doing this. And forcing it on us is not right. Just because you did something stupid, doesn't mean you should share it. Its like if I were to make a video game that had all this great visual effects and such, and then later decide to make another game (exactly the same) but with new sprites that look worse than the ones before. Or, its like if I had a friend who painted a picture of a scene, and I did the same thing, and after turning them in he gets a A+ for his good work and I get a B+ for not being as good, and then we are asked which one we should sale on ArtBreak or whatever the one that's more liked will be picked. And though I worked hard on the same picture, and used time and resources to make it, I'm not going to force mine into the ArtBreak just because. Its like what you're doing with this and a few other splash arts. People bought the first art piece of Teemo's cotton tail skin, majority for its cute in game model, but also because the splash was amazing. People usually can't wait to see the amazing splash arts you guys make, but what this does is take the image they bought and replace it with something else, even if they liked to original better.

This splash is honestly one of my favorites.

This splash is one of my least favorites.
Do you understand why?
One shows a cute little bunny bringing happiness during a time where things are pleasant, almost like I'm reading Peter Rabbit. The other is a Goth kids version of what he wants to do to Easter. Yet, then again...
Anyway, I understand how it feels to be a artist. You will eventually start getting a new style and look back and not feel like the original was as good as it could be. And, here recently, I feel that someone on your team has trouble making things smile. I mean, look at this:

Its not that hard to make someone smile or look really happy. No one looks perfect 100% of the time, but common, this isn't the only time Tristana's smile was too big. Her first new regular splash was the complaint of the boards until it was finally changed. (I think, in all honesty, that her eyes balls are WAY too big. If you make them smaller, I'm sure people won't think she's just high.)
If the community is asking you to stop just some of the changes, open your hearts and try and at least negotiate. Except for the Teemo one, that one has got to be reverted.
