Actually Stinger came first, Nashor's is a recolor of it, not the other way around.

Stinger was added on may 9 2009, Nashor's came on August 7 2009.

makes sense, since nashors is stinger's only buildpath... they should replace fiendish codex with another unique item with only 1 buildpath: Can of yellow paint!
