Maokai Skin [IDEA] - I am Maokai

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy (WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU??) there are potential spoilers in my suggestions. :)

Yes. This is a seemingly generic idea. Yes, it's Groot inspired. BUT! It can be made to be fun. :)

The only ideas I have so far are animation/image changes. They're both tree-based, so finding key design elements to change Maokai to resemble Groot are difficult for me to come up with.

Maokai's saplings would be Raccoon looking creatures as a nod to Groot's friendship with Rocket. instead of exploding, maybe they have a gun that backfires? His Ult would be similar to the wood shield that groot created at the end of the movie. His dance would materialize a planting pot for him to dance in like in the credits. His recall would spawn glowing particles like Groot created when they boarded Ronan's Dark Aster. His taunt could just have him say, "I am Maokai." over and over... seems pretty annoying. I think this could be fun to design.
