WE NEED MORE SEXUALIZED MEN TO BALANCE OUT THE SEXUALIZED WOMEN!

I mean, Urgot is pretty sexy, but it doesn't balance stuff out.

What do you mean "Kappa"?

Have you SEEN his nipples?

Solitair11 votes

A sexualized male champion skin would be refreshing

Nikushimi Zero2 votes

Preeeeetty sure Varus's Heartseeker skin is sexualized. So, it wouldn't be the first.

And I'm pretty sure Draven is sexualized all the time (according to him of course :P )

And I mean there are the pool party skins for some of the guys which could be considered since they are somewhat shirtless. shrugs

The debonair skins are definitely meant to be seductive and confident skins. So there are those.

Just saying this one wouldn't be the first.

Solitair6 votes

It's hard for me to think of a cupid inspired skin on sexual terms, but i suppose it is quite revealing. Then again, Varus doesn't normally even wear pants. And well, there's a difference between a "handsome" look and a "sexualized" look. The debonair skins don't really show a whole lot of skin. they look sweet as hell, but they're not really sexualized.

Nikushimi Zero2 votes

Eh, true. Though it is all based on perspective. Some might consider them sexual. I mean, the Debonair's are giving them "Sex Eyes". Lol.

Since you mean "Revealing" then yeah. There aren't really a lot of revealing skins for males, though I mean some of them do go around shirtless in some skins, or almost shirtless. If that is considered sexualized to some people.

I also think it's all based on themes. I consider Heartseeker Varus to be fanservice due to the whole Heartseeker skin line being revealing and about love and such.

If it fits the champion, or isn't too overly fan service I'm all for it. Male or female.

Spizzle90001 votes

I guess I get what you're saying, but I find it difficult to comprehend how to sexualize a guy as much without turning the game downright pornographic. Maybe that's cause I'm a straight man that I can't really think of how, but it seems rather hard.

But, I do think that it would be possible to do to either Vladimir or Talon.

MisterHealYoGirl2 votes

To put the men of League on a level with the women, Heartseeker Varus would need to be the baseline. So like Brand's Vandal skin would just be Evelynn's gimp suit, Graves would just get pants and a gun, etc.

Spizzle90001 votes

Huh. Problem is it's hard to make men look badass if you try to hard to make them look pretty.

MisterHealYoGirl1 votes

And therein lies the delicious candy center of every complaint ever levied against female character design.

Spizzle90001 votes

From my previous post: too*

You mean women being tired of not having badass characters, or what? Sorry, I'm not too good at reading comprehension ><;

MisterHealYoGirl2 votes

It can be frustrating to have women's looks prioritized over conveying their character or over what's reasonable. Zyra, for example, is wearing a bikini made of leaves instead of armor (like Lux) or even some sort of robe (like Swain). Or pants.

If we compare Vi and Janna, for example, we can see some stark differences. Vi is clearly a no-nonsense kind of woman, reflecting her brash ideals and her harsh background. Her character is very clearly displayed in her appearance. Like Vi, Janna is an orphan who grew up on the hard streets of Zaun, eventually turning into a brilliant mechanic and pilot in addition to her magical powers. However, none of this is portrayed by Janna's appearance, since she's wearing a standard League Lady outfit: a sports bra, short shorts, and leg warmers.

It's important to note that it's not necessarily a bad thing for female characters to be dressed revealingly. For example, Evelynn's character is actually all about sex appeal, and so her gimp suit makes sense. What's frustrating to me is when a woman is dressed revealingly, regardless of her character, simply because she's a woman.

Graves with just pants and a gun.. where have I seen that before? That really sounds like something one would wear to a say a party held at a swimming establishment.

Subliminal Message: Buy Pool Party Graves

MisterHealYoGirl1 votes

Graves could be wearing a speedo and he'd still be more clothed than JInx, who is wearing literally nothing but three belts and a stocking.

i do like pool party graves though very swan dive wow

Mama Soraka2 votes

I'd buy every skin that came out in a new line dedicated to helping the fine gentlemen of League of Legends strut their stuff. It could be a partner to the Heart-Seeker line, something like "Heart-Throb" or "Dreamy Hunk"

Initial releases could include: Dreamy Hunk Garen Heart-Throb Braum etc, etc

Just showing more body, more muscle, possibly making certain .... bigger like they do with Ahri and Morgana. They could make them in more sexual positions like Ahri's ult icon. They would change there faces and positions, and make people like wukong more... attractable than someone like ezreal who would be easy to change.

Spizzle90001 votes

I don't think most men would play a character whose genitalia is somewhat visible. I know I wouldn't. I don't play for appearances, but making male characters have more of a bulge would be downright pornographic imo.

Arakadia1 votes

Alot wouldn't. Yet many female players play Ahri, Morgana, and Evellynn. Many people DO play for appearences. Making female characters have sickeningly thin hips, big boobs, and sexual poses (Like ahri's ult icon or Nami's splashart) isnt pornographic? Im not saying I want this for male or female characters but only few female champions are tough and act like a independent person who is realistic and not a hooker. Sejuani, Shyvana, are the only ones I can think of atm. Atleast ppl like liss aren't as bad.

Spizzle90001 votes

Yeah. But Ahri's kit would make no sense if she weren't sexualized. And, I suppose this is debatable, but giving a man a lot of muscle (not necessarily excessive, such as Braum, but more along the lines of Yasuo) is probably somewhat similar. Plus, in society it's more acceptable generally for women to show their breasts than a man showing his penis. Like, I get what you're saying though. Women character diversity is pretty meh, but it's not too bad, ya know?

Well, there's Vi, Illaoi, Sej and Shyv as you said, I'd say Vayne, Diana, possibly Fiora, Irelia, Karma, Lissandra's okay, as you said, and Lux is reasonable (imo it almost seems like she's super depressed and pretends to be optimistic, at least that's what her lore suggests).

Those are the ones who stood out to me when I scrolled through the champion list (of the adults who are more or less human).

But, let's be honest here: Vladimir is the best character in the game. Like, those puns though. Personally I feel like Talon or Vladimir should be in the next wave of Pool Party skins. Vladimir could drain water with his Q, turn into an inflatable pool with a rubber duck in it for his W, throw out water balloons with his E, and drop a water balloon briefly for his ultimate.

Talon could have a swimming noodle thing as his blade, or perhaps a little mini-shovel thing, and making up his cape would be the noodle things, I don't know about his W, and same with his ultimate.

Or Yasuo could have a swimming noodle as a sword with water effects on his abilities. -shrugs-

Arakadia1 votes

Yeah, but it doesn't make it right really what they do often to many female champs. Vi, Illaoi, Shyv, Irelia, and kinda Fiora are pretty good examples of what they should be doing. Vayne is alright, but like Fiora both of em' show bigger parts. Jinx is a good example, trist is 2, Lulu, and Kalista are very good examples of balance.

But than again, Zed, Riot's Balance Team, and The Champion Designers always said: Balance is Weakness -Riot Games

Spizzle90002 votes

They've gotta work on that stuff more. But, the thing is that they like to make their human (or mostly human) characters attractive, as most people enjoy playing characters that aren't hideous. The proportions can definitely get overboard for sure though.

Arakadia1 votes

Yeah. I agree and it seems where on the same page. But there's a balance between hideous, and over board.

Arakadia1 votes

Yeah but those weren't created souly for sexiualization. Look at kitty kat katarina or officer caitylin.

Nikushimi Zero3 votes

I don't see how the Officer Caitlyn was made for sexualization except for possibly the middrift and the bra you kinda see. I kinda see why people think that about this skin.

She's already wearing a skirt in her original design so the skirt in the officer one doesn't make too much of a difference.

The Kitty Kat skin can be seen as sexualized. Though in her original design Katarina is already showing a lot of skin, and this is for ease of movement (she is an assassin). Only thing really different here is ears, and white shorts with white leggings.

Though the pose for Kitty Kat Katarina is definitely one of a seductress. So I see the point.

As I say though, it is all theme based. Seductiveness is a skill that is used to entice and get close to someone before striking. Women (and some men) are well versed in that art. I can definitely see Katarina, Ahri, and a few others using that to their advantage.

Talon, Vlad, and a few others might as well. It's all based on theme, so if it works whether for male or female it works.

Personally I don't like it when people completely sexualized champions. Male or female. I just look at them and are like "Really?". Like the recent posts wanting a "Pool Party Ahri" which is basically her wearing practically nothing but a bra and floss.

Anyways, A kitty cat Talon would be interesting and amazing if done correctly.

Arakadia1 votes

Officer caitlyn is just very "for show". Its not like evelynn and some of her skins where shes basiclly in a "sex costume". It seems very "conveneint" that people that aren't assasins like cass, caitlyn, Ahri, Janna, Diana's skins, Fiora, etc. and some female warriors that may/may not have been stated above also wear little clothing/armor, show alot of skin, and have grotesquely thin waists, big boobs, and sexual positions such as Nami's splashart. Riot knows they do this on purpose and they do it to attract and pull in more "customers". They've started to steer away from this though.

Nikushimi Zero2 votes

Ahri though is based upon seduction. Even her lore speaks of this, so I understand that lore wise.

Janna and the rest though aren't seductresses. So I understand that. Cass however has been known to use her charms since her days as a Noxian noble. Them all being "thin" is based upon them being active in fighting and moving. You won't exactly be "bulky" and huge when doing such things unless you're going for bulk, and most women don't go for "bulk" they go for tone and strength, but not bulk. Most anyways.

So for warriors to have "thin waists" as you say is part of them being fit. The big boobs though I understand. Jinx is probably the only adult woman without big breasts. Though she does show a lot of skin, but guess that could be part of her "Rebel" design and a "punk" design. Still wish she wore more personally, but shrugs

I get the whole pandering and everything. Personally I wish they'd be practical and fit to themes when making champions.

Personal favorites in terms of skins/champion is Diana regular, Irelia Nightblade, Fiora Nightraven, Chosen master yi, Varus Arctic Ops. So, I like practicality in terms of skins being to the theme. Most for women are more revealing then men, and that is kinda meh imo. Especially if it doesn't fit the champion. So I get the points on that.

Arakadia1 votes

As I said in another post: "Think about how many female champions are supposed to be sedductive. It's an excuse for how the champion is portrayed. Cass is sedductive and so is Arhi based on personality, Janna was a "women of the street" if ya know what I mean, Katarina is an assassin, Miss Fortune is supposed to be the "Beautiful Hero Of BilgeWater", Nidalee is wearing the least probably of any champion, Evelynn is also an assassin (Look at her "pants" in her splashart), and Urgot is flat out pornographic..." When you say female champions have thin wastes because there active in fighting and moving. Their not being fit. Thats so severely unhealthy and the majority of them like cass or morgana aren't active and fighting. Moving around and being active won't do that to you.

Nikushimi Zero1 votes

You say it's unhealthy, but there are plenty of women in real life that are healthy and have thinner waists than the majority of other women. Just because it might be "thin" compared to other women doesn't mean they are "unhealthy". That's one thing I wish people would understand. Same with women who are considered "too heavy". Just because they are heavier doesn't mean they are unhealthy.

While it is an excuse with the whole "This is their lore and how they are" to make them more sexual and such...it is also true that it is how they are. The whole Janna thing I don't understand even if she was a "Woman of the streets". Since she isn't that anymore imo she shoulds changed. In fact I didn't know she was that or anything. I always thought she was some kind of wind magician person who needed free/loose clothing for the wind to work better or something.

Imo Janna should be dressed more as a steampunk pilot with a staff off of what I read and have heard on her so far.

So I'm not disagreeing if you think that. I am simply stating that some women are seductive and that's just how they are. Even in real life. Some women also dress a certain way and look a certain way because that's how they feel good about themselves and has nothing to do with sexualizing themselves for others. Some however do sexualize themselves for others.

Men do so as well so I'm not leaving them out. It's just less common.

As for the "fit" thing. It is true though. Even for mages they are moving and dodging and needing to be in shape to keep up. Though, Gragas I don't quite understand....I mean, it could be one of those body types of bloating but that bloating is all muscle. Shrugs Gragas himself has bulging arms, and while he has that beer belly it can still be muscle. I've known several people like that myself. Big bellies, but pure muscle.

Other than that all champions are quite fit. While not all are tone (like the women and I would say Ezreal, but never saw underneath his clothes), they are all fit in some form or another.

Who knows. I'm not disagreeing with your points or anything, but just stating that they have that body tone (the slim waists at least) due to their job. Fighting. Whether mage or not you gotta keep in shape to keep up.

Arakadia1 votes

Those waists are unhealthy though. So many of the champions that are female have "seductive" personalities don't need that aspect, would be cooler without it, and are partially used to reel in more of an audience. Mages aren't going to get fit from, moving around, dodging, especially as the majority of the time they'll be studying, practicing, and learning. The majority of the time their not in battle. Running will keep them in shape, but not make them crazily thin, muscular is weird places like the arms when your running, make their boobs bigger, and mages aren't meant to keep up. They have to pour all their time into practice and knowledge.

I want this.

Arakadia2 votes

Heh..ehh..umm...

IcyPepper2 votes

Hm? Well, it's my personal opinion there should be more eye candy of the male variety in this game, and while this game is far from its roots of... ya know, and there's lots of progress, there could be a few more guys flaunting their stuff.

Not oversexualized of course, regardless of gender. Stuff like Heartseeker Varus is a complete bulls-eye.

And yes, a heterosexual person can point at someone of the same sex and go "<Deity of Choice> did a great job on that one." Doesn't have to be remotely sexual at all.

Also I just really like cat cosplay.
