Why don't you make cross-gender skins? Like Luciana?

Or Illaoier. No kidding. It would be unique and fun idea. I personally really like the idea and think there are players that would love to see a specific champion in other gender.

One of the reasons I assume is that the skin needs to be legendary tier and since there are limited amounts of legendaries made - no reason to risk doing smth so uncommon.

Because it would require Riot make a legendary-tier skin for what amounts to "same theme and fantasy, but with different parts". Why make male Jinx when they can make Star Guardian? Why give Thresh a few curves and a higher pitch when they can make him a star-eating harbinger of nothingness? Why make a blind monk woman when you can make a divine warrior on the cusp of ascension?

R63 skins would require new lines of dialogue, new models, even new animations. If they're going to do that there so many better, more unique themes for them to explore instead.

Just gender benders would be weak. For some champs like lucian its possible. Play as lucian wife put lucian was captured be thresh. For other one like dude illaoi it would seem lazy for the amount of money youd spend.

Why would they.

Although that fanart is good, the way you present the idea is just strange.

It would take far too much effort for the cost and honestly I don't see much appeal in a concept like that.

I would love that, but people don't seem to be interested.
