Logic is simple. Game didn't happen so you didn't get possibility to play your role. You get removed autofill protection for nothing.
update If it doesn't supposed to take away protection then it's bugged. I intentionally checked "autofill protected" status before queuing up and after remake.

However, why is the queue timer reset? I've just spent 5-6 mins of useless gametime and I like to get that reimbursed. Let remake victims get the queue time they had when joined.
TheEdgeOfDestiny1 votesMaybe it's bugged. I'm pretty sure it was "autofill protected" when I queued because I checked it. Also I got secondary role in remade game. But when I queued after remake it was "autofill activated".

It's not like it can instantly place you back into a game like there are suddenly 9 other people near your MMR queued into the various roles you need to make 2 full teams. The process goes by starting closer to your MMR and as the time goes on it broadens the range to search through - meaning that longer waits = larger variety of MMR, shorter wait = less variety. Don't want the timer reset? Then you'll be matched into whatever group happens to be next, nearly regardless of MMR.
Cruel Woman1 votesor remove autofill....because unlike people who lie about i really cant support, like i play aggressively so putting me a passive role is bad, i tend to feed then i get reported all because i'm bad at supporting. i can but it would be like a 4v5.
