From what I remember hearing, Omen was stopped in production because of the programming capabilities of the time. Making a non-humanoid character was a hard task and they couldn't figure how to make him work properly without having visual bugs or glitches.

EDIT: And I am so down for the egg laying Omen concept. Its an ability that was already explored in other mobas like HotS, but seeing something like it in League would bring some freshness.

i just want the 'Tricksters Glass' ability to be worked into a champion and not left to fade away. we have stealth. Akali Evelynn Khazix Shaco Twitch Rengar Talon Teemo But what is the purpose of stealth? to get close to people. how to convince someone willingly to come to their death? Just Lie to them.

also i thought about the egg thing, just trying to figure out what do lizards do? then i thought of what could the eggs do? and when Riot said an ultimate should define a champion.

I dont play HotS. what champion has something like this that i can look up?

I can't recall the name. But basically, the champion is a winged murloc (If you know what that is) that has a VERY very small health pool. He is literally worth half a kill. Like, literally 0.5 kills.

He has the ability to lay an egg down anywhere on the map, and when he dies, he respawns instantly on that location. Yes, you read that right. He does not get a death timer. But if the enemy destroy his egg, he gets the same death timer anyone woul get.

He is pretty fucking annoying from what I can remember. I haven't played the game in forever.

took me a bit, but i found it. I was thinking sorta that but different. The murloc one seems like a reason to keep that little guy with low health and just be an annoyance. i was thinking mine more of a way to do a risky play and if it doesnt work out be able to limp away with 10% of your health-ish. Like .. lay egg.. flash over the baron wall for a steal attempt.. if you die than 'no problem' get born again back to safety. throw a thought of making it so you can set spawn points all over the map and basically fight and kite to keep respawning. Some days you think you are being creative. then you realize someone got there first.
