maybe they'll bring it back when they finally get around to updating her splash arts, just like they did with Tristana, Trundle, etc? i mean, she does fall under the "champion that was given a visual update and the only splash art changes made were when they gave her the Chinese splashes" category. unless they decide that her current splash arts are "close enough" to her models that they won't bother making new ones :/

personally though, i think they'll get around to Annie eventually, but other champions are higher on the priority, due to the splashes not matching the model at all cough Karma cough

I wouldn't say ugly or horrible, I'd say out of place or contrasting heavily. Theres a lot of artist style contrasts and regional contrasts in the newer splash arts that makes them look really awkward when next to each other and it really shows.

A lot of the chinese splashes have a very big visual contrast, not saying that they're bad but its natural for them to be drawn that way in these areas. We prefer more realistic while they prefer more (god help me find a better word than anime-like)

Annie smiling does not help the mood in the splash art, not necessarily the stereotype that goths don't smile.

She is also called the Dark Child for a reason, and it's rare to see Annie give a smile that doesn't have a hint of mischievousness in it.

I had human Ryze before, but they actually just.. regularly sold it for awhile after his update. Not really rare anymore. Sorta pissed.

Human Ryze was never sold after this recent VU. The bundle contained 8 out of 10 skins, leaving Triumphant and Human out for obvious reasons.

kept an eye out for human ryze. i wanted the skin. they never sold it in the bundle or separately. on the PBE i have it .. but PBE accounts should be considered temporary by nature. but thats about it.

I will copypasta you: "if you don't like the splash then that's your problem." If it is an old splashart, it doesn't mean everybody hates it. Ryze is available for everybody lol. Ofc Riot needs to update things that can be sold. They need to make money, ok? They will gain nothing from Human Ryze.

It's called an increase in quality. The old splash art was obviously low quality and i'm pretty sure the majority of Human Ryze players like a nice splash art. Also, it has to keep up with League's time.

Seems like you wouldn't understand when you have something really rare and somebody tries to force it under the mainstream. It is understandable from riot's point of view to update and make money off old skins, which new kids don't usually buy. However, Human Ryze is not the case.

Well, for me it doesn't look original enough. They did change the whole skin and splash art to something else. They just left the name.

Mainstream? Anything that has more bright colors and children friendly? I think it is not hard to see if you've been playing long enough. I repeat it for fourth or fifth time. Champions and skins should be updated, otherwise new players won't purchase them, alright? However, skins like human ryze, black alistar and something like Riot Singed shouldn't be. It is like people who restore old cars with new parts. Badass engine, cool spoiler, custom paint and etc. Who is gonna buy this car, huh? Not many people (it is reality, I don't really wanna know what's your opinion on that). Sometimes it even hurts the value of the car. However, purely original car worth a lot more and, obviously, more valuable. People simple wanna own a piece of history, same thing with bikes, guns, pokemon cards and eventually league.
