Tommy - the playful unrest
Open for Lore suggestions: An untimely passing left the parents of Thomas Carter in dismay. Their once lively and friendly boy was now gone from this world. The police chalked it up as an accident but Thomas’s parents new better. It was no mere accident; it was murder. “Why us?” the parents would shriek at night, “Why our boy?” They figured their cries fell dead to the night. They didn’t. One dead of night, a mysterious figure appeared. “What you seek I can offer for your loss does need to be.” The parents fell to their knees is shock. Lacking reasonable thought they asked what they must do. “I will return your boy but when you pass, I get him for my own.” After some time to think the parents, overwhelmed with the thought of their Tommy back, signed the note and returned home to find Tommy throwing around a baseball in the yard. They were so happy. It wasn’t until that night that they noticed something different about their boy. He was sweet and innocent at times but something else in the shadows. At night his giggles would become screeches, stuff would levitate, and gusts of wind would shake the house. Oversight was the parent’s flaw as the day time was worth the harsh nights. Little did they know Tommy could not control himself at the night. It was that oversight that caused Tommy’s demon to take his parents from the world. The next morning, when Tommy woke, he saw what he had done and ran in fear. The figure returned for Tommy but Tommy was gone.
General idea of Tommy: When in Tommy form he is a nice young boy, childish, and skips around. Just before he fades out and just after fading back in, he shows a start of transformation into his demonic look. When playing as or with Tommy, when in ‘Faded Reality’ you see Tommy as a full demon. Enemies cannot see Tommy at all.
Tommy's basic attack is a sling shot. 500 range.
Passive: Faded Reality: Every 5 seconds Tommy fades back into the demon world for 1 second. Detection does not reveal Tommy to the enemy team. During that time, Tommy can only move. (no summoners, no auto attacks, no spells)
Q: Giggle/Screech: Tommy lets out a giggle to only be heard by enemy champions in a small range around him. Enemies who hear the giggle are feared for .5/.75/1/1.25. Faded Bonus (Screech): the fear duration is doubled and for each enemy feared, Tommy gets a 10% move speed bonus.
W: Catch/Freeze: Tommy throws a baseball in a target direction dealing magic damage (80/125/190/230 + .4 AP). Faded Bonus (Freeze): Tommy will use his demon powers to rather hold an enemy, additionally causing them to be stunned (2 at all ranks).
E: This way/Rift: Tommy leaves a small wind trail to assist an ally champion by granting greatly increased move speed (30%/35%/40%/50%) while in the trail. (300 range) Faded Bonus (Rift): Tommy creates a one way portal for ally champions to use. (300 range, can go through terrain)
R: Possession: Passive: If any of the spells are cast within .5 seconds from fading out or the first .5 seconds from fading in (Tommy’s demon form), Tommy gets a bonus effect. Active: While in ‘Faded Reality’ Tommy can activate Possession on an enemy champion to take control of the enemy champion. Both teams can attack the possessed champion. Your team will have normal attacking toward the enemy champion. The enemy team's allies can also attack the champion but all damage becomes null while all crowd control would effect the champion. Also, for every 100 damage the possessed ally would have taken, Tommy is slowed by 5% while in the ally. At the end of the duration or when the possessed champion dies, Tommy will jump out of the host backward (300 range) and instantly go back into ‘Faded Reality’
Tommy was imagined as a support. He has amazing crowd control but the timing needs to be perfect. To get the most of his crowd control you need to use it in the fading bonus part of Tommy after he turns level 6. This gives you a window of 1 full second every 6 seconds. Tommy is great at buying the carry time to get away or chasing after. Downside is while Tommy is faded he can do nothing to protect his carry pre 6. When Tommy hits 6, the tides turn. Possession is designed for either Tommy to maneuver their carries from protection, or to get a tank out of the way. The hard part is being in Faded Reality at the right time. A good combo of Screech in a team fight along with Possession can really sway a team fight. But the timing needs to be perfect. When coming back in after Possession along with Faded Reality, use Freeze to hold any troublesome carries from getting away. Tommy is also great at starting fights by using Faded Reality to go into a team fight, and then using the right bonus for the situation: use rift to get a portal for your tanks, use Screech to fear their team, or use Possession pre-fading in to take a carry right into the start of the fight.
Quotes: Tommy: Oh jeeze, I'm sorry mister! Tommy: I don't feel too good. Tommy: Have you seen my baseball?
Tommy Fading Out: Not again! Tommy Fading in: Wha.. What happened?
Tommy in demand form just breathes demonic. Not enough time for a saying.
