The question is: What should they do with it? I think turning it simply green would be kinda hard to see and changing its shape could make it hard to recognize.

Now that I think about it... personally, I feel like the whirly whirl should be a bit more away from the body. With the color scheme as is, it could be a little easy to miss in the thick of things, and it could leave to you using the charge on a skill you don't mean to - or worse, thinking you have it up when you don't and putting yourself out of mana. If you pull it away from the body a bit, it'd be displaced enough from the model to be noticed as a separate and special element.
Although maybe I'm just talking out my ass... I dunno. Just a feeling.
