Tamm, King of the Rivers champion discussion/ability theorizing

A few ideas I have on what the abilities for this champ will be most likely a feast/consume move like Cho'gaths or Nunus my idea how it will be unique is it will be needing to eat minions/monsters for mana/energy to use possibly a trade off for this will be if it has high ratios or base damage. Another, possibility its ult is a stitches like ult from hero's of the storm it eats a champion to take it out of the fight for a few seconds. Another possibility is in the teaser it said he took the gambler into his man and hurried to the palace like place. Possibly a move that can teleport him and/or ally down a river making it so the top can get down to bottom in seconds or vise versa this also helps with the team oriented champs like kalista/bard. My final idea is he has a charm since he tricked the bride and she let guard down. W probably doesn't have a slow. E isn't a movement skill. His ult wont be a slow and dot damage. The champion designer of this guy is the guy who created Azir/Lucian DanielZKlein on Reddit.

A while ago Rioter's talked about how Gnar, during development, could 'Swallow' champions in his mega form. Perhaps this mechanic they experimented with will be put to use in this champion? After all, he's quite hungry...

I think he's some kind of void monster as he spoke about hunger that is constant.

so one idea i had was he has an aoe charm because in the video he sung a song the attracted the gambler so i think a charm and swallow mechanic would be really cool on this guy

In my opinion im just going to say what i think might be a very cool ability set

Q- he is a fish like creature so what about some sort of Slide idk something in that sort

W- I think the charm idea is awesome so like why not a cone shaped charm like Cho'gath silence sized cone

E- I also think that we should combine nunu and trundle in this ability . He likes to eat so why not a chomp ability If he eats a minion or monster it shouls give him mana regen and armor/Mr If he chomps a enemy champ which kills the champ it should give him extra hp cuz he basically feasted on them

R- i thi k his ultimate should be the 4th supression of the game ( if im correct) like be able to take a enemy champion in his mouth doing damage over time as he walks and chomps and spitting them out rather after reactivating the ability or a certain max time limit ( as the champ is in his mouth his movement speed should be slower

I think he should be able to slide as his passive in the river . Make his movement speed faster somehow i believe he should have some sort of passive with SR in a way

Thats all i think cx just wanted to share i doubt anyone would listen cx

Gotta start off by saying way to go RITO. Never thought there would be a Louisiana inspired champion and I am damn proud for there to be one being that I'm from Louisiana myself. Proud to have a Cajun champion ;)

The real reason for this post, however, is that I feel like his abilities are all laid out in the teaser.

He's a siren of sorts. In Greek mythology, a siren's song is something that no man can resist. Hence, I believe he'll have an ability that is a song that either taunts or charms. Would be interesting as a charm because as of now Ahri is the only one on the Rift who has a charm.
The big mouth I believe is the ability to carry allies/eat opponents. It can perhaps be used to carry allies to safety or to deal massive damage to an enemy. I believe this will be his main damage output.
He speaks of making deals. Maybe an ability like TF's "W" that relies upon the player to press the key again to choose the right "deal" of sorts. Either that or it could be his passive...to "strike a deal" with an ally similar to Kalista. But I'm just making guesses here.
He speaks of having been everywhere in the river and his ability to go back there. Maybe an ultimate similar to that of TF's, except he can only go to places in the river. However, he says "The world is a river, and I am its king. Ain't no place I ain't been. Ain't no place I can't go again." In this case he might have an ultimate almost identical to TF's where he can TP to any location he's been prior.
His passive may have to do with the fact that he's a "River King". Meaning his strength relies upon the river. Maybe a movement speed buff, perhaps a damage buff, a tankiness buff, or (my personal favorite) perhaps an invisibility of sorts. This thought comes from the fact he was in the river the entire time the video was happening and no one had a clue until the end.

Just a thought, but seems pretty viable.

considering in his video, early wise, said something about being a monsterous siren, i think his ult will be he will taunt/charm somebody and hurt them, if they are low enough he will execute them by devouring them, sorta like cho'gath. :)

Here is the story of Tamm!

Tamm’s story

Into a sunken town, the handsome gambler ran. For he owed gold and blood, but yet had none to spare. Desperate and forlorn, he was about to change he’s path and walk away, when he heard a song that called on him, to chance he’s luck again.

The singer was a creature with the biggest mouth the gambler had ever seen. “Excuse my song” the monstrous siren said. “The tunes purpose was your attention. For I knew you had troubles, and I can offer absolutions“

“Can you carry me from this bind?” The youth asked. “Boy! The worlds one river, and im its king. Ain't no place I ain't been, and ain't no place I cant go again… And the price is a minuscule thing. See I got hungers that ain't easily fed. And those finest tables, they never got a seat for me. So I need men like yourself to let me in.”

The gamblers only hunger was dice and cards. For his bargain, it seemed to easy a price. “ if you're offering a ticket?” The youth finally asked. “That's a deal I will take.” And before another word was spoke, the monster snapped him up and fled. To a faraway land the gambler was conveyed, and a palace of chance he was left.

Years past, and love the gambler found. His bride a princess and the wedding none would miss.

And when the beast finally did arise, the family screamed and fought, and or tho the gambler tried to cast him out, he ate the gifts, house and gold, for its hunger nothing satisfied.

“Please! Not now! Not this time!” The bride did cry, and the beast responded to her it purred: “This hunger is a burden, and it's the last time I swear, so please forgive” and the beasts lies so melodic and sincere, charmed that bride, and thus the failed to recognize when that demons jaw unhinged. She screamed just once as I snapped her bones and crushed her limbs. And that meal… It left me satisfied. So cry if you want boy. Cause you had the chance to walk away, instead you're the fool, the fool who let me in.

His passive will likely be that he's stronger in the river. Might seem weak until you consider the advantages for baron and dragon.

I really like the flavor of his lore. An odd cajun New Orleans feel to it that intrigues me.

I think he is going to have some sort of slow , an ability to transport himself (smnth like reksai or zac has), aoe dmg spell, and his ult could be something like skarners ult but the affected champ would be in stasis. And there are a lot of options for the passive, mby a buff in river, some camping ability similar to teemo's passive or a charm.

But anyways, i love his voice, the voice acting is on point. Just wow, realy great job on that. So lets build up the hype guys :D

one of his abilities should eat a minion and if it kills it grants a stack on another ability and u can shoot a minion skillshot for each stack with a short cd
