My second champion for a contest this year.
Hunter champion
name: Machale title: the Gunslinger
tags: range, marksman, potentially assassin
Lore: also to be given (could use some advice if anyone has any, own ideas I'm hesitant to use)
Innate- Attacking the same target will place stacks on them that increases your critical strike chance against them. Switching whom you are attacking or not attacking them for 3 sec will drop all stacks they have.
Q- Activating makes you go invisible and has your next attack deal bonus physical damage. If the attack would deal a killing blow the ability is automatically reset, meaning the CD is set back to zero and is also automatically re-activated. Given this effect, the cooldown does not start until the auto attack buff has been used up without killing an opponent and/or the timer to land the enhanced attack has expired.
W- Throw out a tripmine that will behave differently depending on where it lands. If it hits an opponent then the mine explodes after one sec and stuns the target while also slowing other nearby enemies. If the mine only hits a wall or stops on the ground (which you can target the ground but it can be intercepted) then the mine will remain in place for a few seconds and will explode when the time runs out or an enemy steps in the path of the mine. The path of the mine is a cone if it hits a wall but is a circle on the ground.
E- Throws out a flaming knife that will deal damage equal to your attack damage and applies on hit effects to the first target hit. It also deals minor magical damage over 3 sec which can be extended by 1 sec each time you attack the enemy hit by the knife. Cooldown starts after throwing the knife.
R- Activating this ability momentarily places full stacks of your passive on all enemies near you and makes your next 1/2/3 attacks deal high bonus damage.
Bonus info: For a little history on the character, he was adopted into a family of blacksmiths. This family has a history of forging their weapons with magic and normal blacksmith's tools and have past on an heirloom of the first weapon forged this way, a knife that burns its foes, to the eldest son. Until the adopted son came along though, there had been no eldest son to take the heirloom, and so the gunslinger has seen the knife as a good luck charm of sorts ever since he was deemed a worthy successor. In his job as a mercenary he has used only in the most extreme situations, not wanting to dull it from too much use, and it has saved him many times by stopping his foes before they can finish him off.
