Behold! my first ever champion for a CCC contest!

Cavum, The Red Goat

Lore: When Alistar's tribe was attacked, he was not the only survivor to be captured by Noxus. A lone child among the Minotaur had stood up and kept fighting the invaders long after his kin were killed. Eventually however his reserves of stamina and rage subsided and he collapsed in exhaustion. Before Alistar returned and slaughtered the soldiers, Cavum was hurried back to Noxus, his show of strength and will catching the eye of the more opportunistic Noxians. Upon arriving in Noxus, Cavum was treated to multiple experiments on his body and mind to find out how to better deal with other Minotaur. Sadly his resistance only made his torturers raise the bar for what amount of pain Minotaur men could withstand. While his body did become eventually become numb to the pain, Cavum's mind became twisted and lost, forgetting his family and home he once knew. He became a hollow shell of his old self.

What Cavum never realized was that Noxus had captured Alistar, but could not completely break him, and were steadily turning Cavum into a weapon to use against him in Alistar's next bout in the Fleshing. However, when Alistar was rescued before his match could begin their plan had to be put on hold. Consequently, Cavum was put into a magical stasis for several years until Swain became the new Ruler of Noxus. Upon learning about Cavum and the experiments he was put through, Swain decided to wake him up and put him to use.

Stats: Health--> 445 (+96 per level) ~~health regen--> 8 (+0.85 per level) Mana--> 230 (+40 per level) ~~mana regen--> 6.5 (+0.55 per level) Attack Damage--> 55 (+3.3 per level) ~~attack speed--> 0.645 (+3% per level) ~~attack range--> 125 Movement speed--> 345 Armor--> 17 (+3.5 per level) Magic resist--> 30 (+1.25 per level)

Abilities:

Innate- "Mana Retention" Anytime Cavum expends mana he gains a portion of it as a shield to protect himself. The shield will slowly turn back into mana over a few seconds. % of mana expended turned into a shield--> 75% (150% if "Untamed Might" and "Dark Wrath" are inactive) Shield decay rate--> 25% every sec, starts 3 sec after last mana consumption Mana return--> (equal to shield decay rate)

Q- "Untamed Might" Cavum can charge his fists with mana, dealing extra magical damage on hit at the cost of mana. Active damage bonus on hit--> 20/30/40/50/60 (+2/4/6/8/10% total mana) magic damage CD--> 1 sec before changing whether on or off Active mana cost per hit--> 15 mana

W- "Willpower" Cavum centers himself and cleanses all crowd control from him in a burst of magic that damages enemies. Damage--> 60/80/100/120/140 (+30% AP) AoE--> 300 units radius CD--> 15/14/13/12/11 sec Mana Cost--> 50/60/70/80/90 mana

E- "Battering Charge" Cavum charges forward and knocks any opponents in his path aside. He also gains increased speed afterwards if he makes contact with an enemy champion. Damage--> 70/100/130/160/190 (+50% AD) Width of dash--> 200 units Length of dash--> 450/500/550/600/650 units Knockback--> 200 units ~~duration--> 1 sec (to complete knockback animation) Speed buff--> 10/15/20/25/30% ~~duration--> 3 sec CD-->18/16.5/15/13.5/12 sec Mana Cost--> 70/85/100/115/130 mana

R- "Dark Wrath" Cavum goes into a empowering frenzy, constantly draining his mana while increasing his attack speed and granting bonuses to his basic abilities. This frenzy is temporary and can only last a few seconds. Maximum duration--> 6/8/10 sec Attack Speed buff--> 20/35/50% Mana Cost per sec--> 5/7.5/10% current mana per sec "Untamed Might" will apply the active damage in an area around his target attacked. Active AoE--> 150 Inactive AoE-->150 "Willpower" will also heal Cavum for a % of the damage dealt to enemy champions. Heal % for damage dealt per enemy--> 15/20/25% "Battering Charge" will gain a second use before going on CD at half the range. Reuse time duration--> 3 sec reduced length of dash--> 225/250/275/300/325 units

New Year's Resolutions bonus section:

"Work on my battle-cry. 'Spoon!' is proving to be ineffective in scaring people off."

"Set the record straight that I am not stubborn nor am I very old at all."

Edit section: (which I should have had in the first place) 01-13-15 Thread actually started (also the "happy birthday" comment was made this day but was done towards midnight so its not showing right date). 01-14-15 Lore added to champion (very much in rough draft phase). 01=16-15 Edit section actually created and placeholders added for base and ability stats. 01-18-15 Finally added base stats, ability stats (which some abilities were slightly adjusted first), and the bonus New Year's section. 01-20-15 Slightly adjusted mechanics of Innate shield duration (no longer stops after a set time) and the speed buff given by "Battering Charge" (now has a duration). The AP scaling on "Willpower" also has a 5% increase and the mana cost has a higher base but lower scaling amount. 02-05-15 Tuned the numbers on "Untamed Might" to reign in the broken power it had (too much scaling). W also only heals on champion hit while ult is active, which the ult also costs % mana now instead of a flat amount and has a limited duration. Passive also now restores mana from shield decay rate (also a new thing) which base and per level mana is higher. No change to lore.

A very straightforward kit that reminds me of 2010 - not that there's anything wrong with that, those were the good old days.

The one thing that would make me throw my keyboard out the window is the dash with speed boost. Add "...when you hit an enemy champion" as a condition to the speed boost, because how the flip do you gank someone with a cleanse into a 650 range dash followed by 30% speed for an unknown duration?

You may want to flesh out the shield mechanics in combination with Q. If you keep AAing, do you get a 5 second shield and then it goes away even when you're constantly spending mana?

Also, the mana cost increase on oranges increases so hard (while it makes sense with his passive) and the damage scales with a stat you're not building, so might want to keep this at level 1 forever.
