Inanis Void Rune Mage

Inanis uses runes to destroy his enemies, as their is runeterra world runes, there is void runes. He can place runes on the ground or wall to trap, harm, control his enemies or protect himself and his allies. He uses his abilities to become a mastermind in battle, a hardcore Inanis will preplan fights before they happen, if he does not plan correctly he will be left defensless. If he misses his ult or places it incorrectly he could waste it and will have to wait a long time before it comes up again.

Lore, No one knows for sure why he came but they all know where, The Void. Inanis has collected Void Runes in his world and used them to get to Runeterra. He is cold to humans thinking them as lower life forms, he feels that his kind is the most powerful of all and all other races should die. Until he met Klara, she was just a random stranger walking by in the village he was in, she knew the stories of him but discarded them. He was surprised when she did not run when he stared at her coldly but just smiled and walked away. He feels that all races are inferior but that does not make them useless, each person creates their perspective of others. He knew that he should not carry out his work. Then a voice screamed in his head, yelling "do not stray from the path" over and over again. When he left the village all that was left were dead bodies of people, twisted into something evil. All of them were dead, except Klara.

P:Void Runes: Inanis holds the void runes in his soul, whenever his spells are triggered he can choose a rune to become empowered, which deals extra damage based on his level and AP.

Q:Rune of Destruction: Inanis places a rune on the ground or wall, when a minion,monster, or champion come within 175 units, it explodes dealing damage in a 300 unit area. (3-6) MAXIMUM

W:Rune of Binding: Inanis places a rune on the ground or wall. If he places it on the ground the rune has a radius of 250 and when triggered roots his enemies for 1.0-3.0 seconds and damages them. If placed on a wall it has a radius of 300 but pulls them to that wall and stuns them for 0.5-1.5 seconds and damages them for the same amount. (1-3) MAXIMUM

E:Rune of Protection: Inanis places a rune on the ground, when an ally clicks on the rune, or is damaged in the area. It triggeres shielding all allys in a 400 unit area, if the shield is empowered instead of shielding all allys, it creates a protective bubble in the area, slowing enemies and enemy projectiles if casted inside. If projectiles attack from outside the bubble, the bubble will take damage but absorb the projectile. (1-2) MAXIMUM

R:Cataclysm: Inanis combines all his runes, the result creates a hole through runeterra. Void energy swirls around the bubble in the 700-1300 unit area, dealing damage over time and slowing enemies. Vision inside the bubble is limited(a bit bigger than twitch camoflauge)quickly comes back after leaving the bubble. Ally movespeed is increased. When empowered by Inanis instead of dealing more damage per second, The Entity from the void will release a shockwave of void energy that pulls enemies closer to the center by 80-100 units and deals extra damage. He can place it on the ground or use it instantly. (1) MAXIMUM

P:Void Runes:Inanis holds the void runes in his soul, whenever his spells are triggered he can choose a rune to become empowered, which deals extra damage based on his level and AP. (By this i mean if a rune is triggered than he can choose a rune to "upgrade" that is already on the ground)

Q:Shadowbolt:Inanis shoots an orb of void energy dealing damage when it reaches its target or the end of its range (You decide on its range up to a maximum of 600 units). If it does not hit anything it will turn into a rune on the ground. If it hits a wall it will also turn into a rune. If an enemy walks over the rune it will deal extra damage in a 300 unit circle. (triggered range is 175 still)

W:Deaths Hand:Inanis extends his hand with void energy, if it hits a champion(disgards minions) it will root them for 1.5-2.5 seconds. It will also deal damage over time based on the root duration.

E:Voidgaze:Inanis stares into the hearts of his enemies. He petrifys them (new cc, stuns them but if enough damage is take then the target will return to normal) for 3 seconds. If Inanis clicks on a wall with this abilty. It will transform into a rune. Petrifying for the same amount but dealing damage in the beginning.(Petrify Radius is 300 and Trigger radius is 175)

R:Limbo:Inanis quickly goes into a non-physical state. He cannot move, see(other than himself) or do anything. He than swirls energy around him after 2 seconds in limbo. This pushes all champions away from him in a (a bit smaller than janna ult) radius. He than returns to runeterra and gets a boost of movespeed based on 10-50% movespeed of every champion he hit.(if he hits one champion he steals 10-50% of their movespeed, if he hits two he will steal the same amount from both, etc){{editors note:I put this in because he has no survivability other than his W which by itself wont do much. He can use this to push assassins away, but can also use it to drag enemies towards his team by flash ulting. This will also help him keep his usability in Team Fights}}

The only problem I foresee is how he will trade with champions. It seems as if his spells are all utility with an overpowered ult. His QWE all need time to be placed, in a teamfight or in lane people can see where you place the runes and it will be easy to avoid them.

Any criticism of my champion i would love to hear, any changes, or things you loved would be noted. I will be creating a Darkin as my next champion. Any ideas for that would be very helpful. Now A GUD BAI until next TAIME.

The idea of a tactical champ with the ability to set up before fights sounds amazing, but what your champion design is suffering from is the lack of meaningful activity besides strategizing. You see, merely placing traps/contraptions in order to make a strategy doesn't qualify for a meaningful activity in-combat; for a majority of players (although, I'm only speaking this out of my own crafted experiences), this feels lackluster due to how he might be unable to activate his strategy/contraptions. If you'd like an example, the closest thing I can point to is Heimerdinger, Heimerdinger.

What I'd suggest is keeping only a few of the trap elements and removing the utility e: it feels wrong on a mage concept like Inanis, so I suggest you remove it unless you plan on making him a strategical support or a defensive battle mage with placed utility scoured around the map.

After removing the excessive strengths, you can now fill in other strengths in different places for this champion, provided this totals to a weakness.

I have some ideas, but I'll keep it short for now. Feel free to ask, and I'll gladly reply in a day or two. ((I'm commenting here so I can save this later))

Also i am a support main so thats why i included the E Spell. I just really want a spell in the game that does something like that. Well that an a support WHO IS MEANT FOR THE ROLE that can TURN FREEAAKN invisible.
