Sakimichan is a really good artist.

Just be careful, you're digging pretty deep for Boards' content policy.

Bikinis should not be considered crossing the mature content line. If they were, they'd have to ban every single piece of Janna or Evelynn artwork, including their own splash arts.

It's more like how small that bikini is + the suggestive pose.

Also, the boards is stricter than the game by a long stretch. I don't think it's bad, I just think compared to what I've seen of moderation, it's sketchy.

I'd be surprised if this gets removed for the picture. If it gets locked at all, it would probably be because of the comments escalating.

I agree with this statement but Riot doesn't follow this logic. Watch this...

Hahahaha! I used Eve in my argument in the past and I never got a reply. Specifically the Chinese splash art.

See you on the other side friend.

Omg, I hadnt seen that splash before o_o

PaladinNO2 votes

I used Eve in my argument in the past and I never got a reply.

So have I. On three separate occasions. About a suspension for posting an apparently inadequately censored image containing suggestions of a mature nature. An image that had already been posted by at least 3 others that I could find.

I got a reply once. Where I was told to stop this line of questioning, else I would be facing a more severe punishment. :|

I contacted Support about this and provided the links to the other posting of the image...and shockingly enough, they took my side. Allthough they only argued that a new line of moderators was in place now (Wardens etc). But no apology was given to me, and my content was kept removed, and my warning was left in place (Support claimed they could do nothing about that...).

Pandemic Punch2 votes

That sucks.... My circumstance was less extreme but I never got an apology or compensation either. I am glad they are not banning me now at least, but I still worry because they still haven't given us a clear line not to cross.

Yes. Heavens knows women's bodies are so gross, sinful and evil we must cover them up unlike the men. Else Riot will spank us.

Anyone saw that post about a guy testing the splasharts for every league champ on a bot that was supposed to check for pornographic content?

The only splashart it flagged was Leona.

Leona.

the post is right about the boobs being silly but that is to be expected with how sexualized some of these characters are.

Your body type classifications scare me and most likely many others. What exactly is your ideal woman?

Well, first off, I am female, and I've actually been that size before.

I know its a fantasy drawing of a fantasy fox lady, but it doesn't sell well as a believable body type. That's a hugely disproportionate size of thigh and hip. The arms are big too. For that not to be fat, she'd have to have such big muscle that even a little bit of definition would need to be apparent to really sell it as not huge fat...that, or the bone structure of a "little person".

And when I was that size, yes, my ass received a lot of praise. My fat distribution is such that i don't really grow a potbelly stomach, and mostly goes to my ass and thighs. But even if people liked how it looked, I was incredibly unhealthy. It was cheeseburgers and shit. I was developing blood clots in my legs, which are very dangerous. One day, my lower leg went numb. That was the last straw. I dedicated to eating right and exercising, and now I am healthy and thin instead of "Thicc". I prefer my thigh gap and no bloodclots to being trendy THICC but unhealthy. My ass no longer gets so much compliments, but who cares ? At least I'm not going to die tomorrow.

Tattersall5 votes

I remember when thigh gaps and being thin were the "unrealistic beauty standards" for women. It's weird for me to think that it's now more or less reversed. +1 for increased awareness.

ChaosThief2 votes

Man beauty standards have really changed in the last 10 years haven't they?

I Main Swain2 votes

both my sister (referring to when she was in middle/high school) and my best friend now were/are very thin, not to the point of it being worrying but just plain old thinner than most girls for sure. despite the fact that both are frankly the two most beautiful young women ive ever known, they were/are bullied a lot and received a LOT of general negativity in regards to everything from people commenting about their health or saying outright that they look terrible. my best friend recently had a guy she had just started dating stop seeing her and later found out that he was telling everyone that he ended things because she was too thin. it honestly pisses me off to no end how terrible people are to thin girls, especially considering how much stress there is on how beautiful overweight girls are. it seems people think you cant say one group is beautiful and good without saying that the group on the opposite end is ugly and not good enough.

ChaosThief2 votes

Welcome to humanity, I guess. Easily impressionable and changes thoughts the moment it benefits them.

I'll admit it, looks play a part in what I think of another person, but it is something that can change (if it's unhealthy). If someone really cares about looks so much that they're willing to break a relationship, odds are they're a waste of time, to be blunt.

...Not that I'm one to talk. Literally have never been in a relationship. I guess you could say I'm weird since I really don't care about fashion, just "hey that looks pretty" or not. Not to mention that it's not hard to get a favorable opinion from me.

Either way, all I can say is humanity is scum, but it's just something we live with. Gotta find the good inside the bad if you want to do anything.

I Main Swain2 votes

yeah no trust me im the same. i regrettably have a tendency to judge people initially based on how they look and ive never been in a relationship, and a part of me was thinking the same thing in regards to him being a waste of time. my point though wasnt the fact that it was a good relationship that ended, i totally agree that if hes gonna be that much of a piece of crap (especially considering how amazing she is in just about every other way) he doesnt deserve to so much as talk to her, but its the fact that he and so many other boys and girls (theres a reason i wont call them men and women) are so shallow that they would overlook EVERYTHING about a person because of such a tiny thing as that. not to mention the fact that shes my best friend and i care about her more than almost anyone so to know that she has to deal with the crap she does is infuriating to me.

Elipo2 votes

The thing with thigh gap is that some woman have it if they are thin enough and some will never have it even if anorexic. Mainly if you have wide hips (talking about bones here, not body fat) you are more likely to have thigh gap when thin.

So that's why it's dangerous if you are ignorant and think you are fat just because you don't have it. You can be really thin and still not have a thigh gap.

Also op is right. Even though that Ahri looks sexy because she has boobs and a nice waist to hips ratio she is fat. (I'm also a woman who's been mostly normal on my weight but also have been overweight -and have similar body fat distribution- and thin and now normal) That Ahri might look sexy but in order to habe that thickness you either that to be fat or have a lot of muscle under some body fat ans that Ahri doesn't show muscular tone at all... Or have implants everywhere.

The thing is that body fat distribution is something influenced by genetics and hormonal balance, but also bone structure helps. That Ahri looks like someone who has naturaly whide hips (the bones) and naturally thin waist (again, the bones) and also someone whose fat goes mainly to her but and thighs due to genetics and hormones and got all the fat she could get in her but and thighs and the got even fatter and some fat got to her boobs and arms and into her abdomen. And for someone with that genetic combo you are also really propense to get cellullitis, unless you are so genetically blessed that you have a really high quality skin (also really high quality nutrition in the vitamins department) so the picture would be more realistic with it.

Also my mom is a nutricionist so I know, I've been raised in an eviroment filled with ducation about nutrition and the thing with all this thickness stuff is also kinda dangerous. Some peopple, due to hormones or genetics (like most men and some women) tend to store fat mainly in the belly wich leads to even higher risk of diabetes and heat discease than some fat peopple that have a lot of fat stored somewhere else, meaning a relatively thick person that stores fat like this Ahri can still be relatively healthy, but when that amount of body fat is on an apple shaped person the healh risk rises A LOT. In other words, a person with the "Ahri" body structure and fat distribution should be waaaaaaay fatter than an apple shaped person to be as unhealthy or and at heart disease/diabetes risk.

And I'm not body shaming, I'm giving objective information about health, also imo that Ahri does look good anyways

ChaosThief3 votes

In the end art is art, I suppose, but honestly, it's stupid that we have to go with unhealthy standards for beauty. It doesn't lead to anything good if "good looking" is also unhealthy. I recall there was a time where really small waists were a sign of beauty... like, really small waists. They used some form of cast to basically shrink the stomach area in half, which lead to the organs in that area not having enough space to function properly.

I'm not complaining about the art, but hey, it is nice to read about stuff like this, and it wouldn't be any worse if it were drawn to healthier standards... it's still a drawing in the end though.

Hmm, who did I call fat? A specific drawing of Ahri? The drawing doesn't have feelings. So I guess what you're saying is that you're projecting, and me saying that Ahri is being drawn fat here makes you feel bad about yourself even though I never said anything about or to you.

how do I say this? I'm not sorry. Nor am I convinced. Maybe you need to take comments less personally when they are not at all directed at you, or even at any living thing without having any malice in the intent at all. It was just an observation of a drawing. She is fat in that drawing. That has absolutely nothing to do with you or any other girl that is not specifically Ahri in this specific drawing.

Jesus. on a somewhat unrelated note, I wish someone had told me when I was getting fat. The way my fat distributes makes it hard for me to notice when it is becoming unhealthy, and it was a gradual creep. But no one, not even my own doctor said anything, and it didn't really hit home that it was getting bad until I was awake in the middle of the night panicing trying to regain feeling in my leg.

Did you miss the part where I said it can reflect on other women with the same body type? And also she isn't fat. So you sound like a dipshit regardless. But anyways, it isn't projection. I am actually considered underweight for a 6'3 female/

\How do I say this, Nobody cares about your shitty personality "Why did they make her so fat" As if bigger girls don't exist and don't deserve praise too? Maybe you should watch how you word things to sound less shitty. Idk though.

Gosh it's almost like positively connoted words don't exist. If your doctor says "You are getting fat" Or "You have been gaining weight" Which would come off better? Personally I cant think of a single person who legitimately wants to be called fat

She's fat. You might think it looks attractive, but you don't want to see people say fat. Both can be true at the same time.

So you want me to say something like " Oh, Ahri has gotten a little big boned" or "Ahri is looking unusually curvy" or "Ahri has gained some weight". Which is utterly ridiculous in reference to a drawing. I will not say she is big boned. That's not an excuse for so much extra weight. I will not say she is curvy. Skinny people can be curvy. I will not say she has gained weight-- because we gain and lose weight all the time as natural, especially women. Why would I use all of these inaccurate and even incorrect euphemisms when I mean to say something else? Even If I am essentially saying the same thing, and all you need to be satisfied is for me to passively imply that I completely love fat and think all fat is beautiful-- then frankly, you can piss off, because you are not entitled to that from me or anyone else. I will not dishonestly twist my own words so as not to offend a painting. I will not pretend to praise what I do not wish to praise. Plenty of people are already lending honest praise. No one needs my insincere praise.

Succubús GF2 votes

She literally isn't fat. If you just use your eyes to look, her stomach is flat as fuck. And women generally have "child-bearing " hips. It's just how that is. You just want to project your feelings of insecure by calling a drawing fat. Oh well. Btw I can downvote your comments too! It's easy ":) Whats 1 more -1 to a -13 anyway~

Women having "child-bearing hips" seems to be a very common excuse for massive curvy hips.

That's ok. I stand by my unpopular comments. I don't mind that the circle jerk doesn't always approve.

she's fat. All of that on her arm, her lower back, her thigh, thats all like a toooon of fat. Flat stomach does not mean skinny. That was the mistake I made when i got fat. You really need to speak to a therapist about your phobia of this F word.

And well, I wasn't projecting anything. I just said "why she so fat tho". There's not much else to read into that. You are the one who made it a humanitarian issue.

I, too, have child-bearing hips. That's the result of bone structure. Like every other woman on Earth. Yet, every woman on Earth isn't bordering obese.

pretty sure the word thicc is a propaganda from all those fat americans to feel better about themselves hah, can't change the meaning of the word fat? better change people perception of it by making them believe it's cool to be fat.

just like with all those smoke ads back in the 1950, smoking kills you? better make them believe smoking is cool hah

  1. The ahri in the drawing is not fat at all, unless you mean her boobs then yea boobs do have fat.

  2. Thicc actually refers to having thick waist, not stomach. That's still can classify as overweight which would be the word that you're looking for i assume? But it's not necessarily fat, it just means she has thick tights.

  3. You shouldn't assume to know things from a culture you didn't bother looking into because honestly i'm sure these things are obvious to anyone even those that aren't from the US. " Why would someone call someone else thicc and another fat? what's the difference? well shit! thick must mean someone is thick besides the stomach then? wow that wasn't hard " - normal thought process of an average human.

Check out Ashley Graham's Sports Illustrated issue. She is an obese plus size model with a very similar body type, just that her waist is a bit thicker. This Ahri, just for a second stop concentrating on individual body parts and squint a bit , move your head back a little, and look at the whole picture. Her form is just a bit massive.

Mcprowlington1 votes

Yes, the artists style is a bit manga-ish, because that's her foundation. This is what the word thick ACTUALLY meant before every internet fuckboy started using it to describe literally anything with a butt.

Her arm is stretched straight, which means her triceps are pushing outward and her arm is going to look a bit bigger than it should.

This really isn't a far cry at all from your typical athletic woman with an endomorphic body type.

I always thought Thick was originally meant to describe women who had large thighs/asses from going to the gym a lot and growing the muscles. Then it became a euphemism for fat girls, then it became a euphemism for anything that has a somewhat female form. At least from where I'm standing.

I mean, the arm thing would make sense too, but her breast is overlapping on top of it, and the arm doesn't show any flattening of the fat, which is not consistent with what you speculated. I mean, lets be honest, anatomical correctness was not the priority here. Those breasts are making me shudder a little. They are off placement, and they are hanging in the way that they would if she was doubled over, except she's not. As someone who likes to draw women, like, what's the problem with drawing a perfectly sexy and properly squished gigantic boob contacting the arm? I don't get it. Gigantic Boob physics/form is so fun to draw, and she just completely went and made them stiff and inorganic.

What really sets this apart from your typical athletic woman is that it is rendered with almost no muscle definition able to be read at all. None in the legs. Not even a little line on the side. None in all of that upper arm fat. That is why it reads as a big mass of blubber. That is why it makes her look fat. She's basically the posterchild for what the fashion industry wants obese models to look like. compare this to say, Adam Hughes' Wonder Woman--now thats a true thick without being fat. He is not afraid to enter msucle definition, or to draw breast form correctly, and he makes it look amazing.

The main thing is that Ahri is not actually supposed to be fat or even thick. Yet, I've carelessly allowed this to become an issue about body image. Truth is, if I saw some skinny ass Illaoi fan art, I'd have more or less the same issue in reverse-- "why she so skinny tho".
