[Concept] Black Hole/Dark Matter champion

How about a champion that uses Black Holes? A much requested concept by the community. My idea:

Control/Utility Mage

Q: A black hole that slows all champions moving away from the center and increases the movement speed going towards the center. Any champion effected by movement-degrading effects including stuns, slows, etc inside the zone will be sucked towards the middle. At the end of the duration the black hole explodes, anybody within half the radius takes damage and is knocked away from the center.

(possible added mechanic) Any ranged attacks shot over center from either team will be deleted.

W: Creates a U arc (like 2 diana Q's mirrored against eachother), in reverse (starting away and coming towards the champion) damaging all enemies inside for a large amount and slowing them by a large amount, and damaging all enemies hit by the edge for a medium amonunt and slowing them for a small amount. The edges will always damage while both sides have to collide with the champion before the secondary effect. Can have one half of this ability go through a portal and return to him, making a larger "inner area".

E: 12 individual thin skillshots of dark matter spawn X units away all around the champion and speed towards him dealing damage and slowing targets struck; upon all 12 reaching champion, a detonation occurs, stunning enemies within small X units from the champion. Potential to use this in combo with R, having the portal between 6 of the skillshots and the champion, pulling them through the portal X units away. The skillshots will continue to move towards champion (like a one-way-boomerang) even after going through the portal, being able to pull through and damage all enemies between.

R (Low-ish cooldown): Has an ability that creates 2-way skillshot axis-based (turnable) portals that you and all Champions can shoot skillshots through, and all skillshots that are shot through continue their momentum to their maximum range and will do bonus damage if hitting a target. Boomerang skillshots could potentially be shot through Portal A, come out Portal B, then redirects towards Champion instead of going back through portal. Enemies could fire through the portal back at you through Portal B and out Portal A, but they will not receive bonus damage if it strikes a target.

With this ability, you'd be able to change the direction, hypothetically like this.

You are standing at the left side of Baron pit and you shoot an Ezreal Q directly at the right side. These portals would be able to change the direction of the skill shots, potentially shooting through the portal and coming out vertically down from the top side of baron pit. Still having the same range, but creating a whole new dynamic to everybody in the game.

Skillshots can enter both sides of the portal and come out the corresponding end of the other one, but they cannot enter from the side.

Its a interesting way to do it, although I think that if you want to set those 2 different concepts (Black hole and Dark matter), you should try to relate them a bit more

Its a nice idea the use you do of the Black hole on q, I though of adding that same speed variations on my black hole champion concept, but ditched it for another kind of use, although this black hole seems a bit disconnected from the rest of the kit doesn't it? W and e can be used to great extent with r, then q is...kinda just there

The R seems really interesting and if well used quite gamechanger, although I think it needs a bit more of explanation: Do you set the portals freely with R? or are they fixed? Can you have more than 2 portals? Do they give you the chance to shoot in 360º by repositioning or they shoot in a single fixed direction?

The Q is meant for zoning enemies. It's a cool concept nontheless.

Explaining the R would take a user's manual. Projectiles come out in the exact angle of the portal position. You would have 2 portals, activate ult twice and you hold R and drag to change position. Imagine pulling your E through people who are stuck in your Q. It ties the other basic abilities together.

Yes, it is a pretty cool concept, but its just there, I'm supposing with inmovilize inside the area you mean rooting or stunning from external sources like another champion right? If that's the case, I would recomend to add something for synergy and so you can use your own effect without depending on other champions, something like "If a enemy unit in the slow area of the Black Hole suffers another consecutive slow, it will be dragged to the center of the Black Hole and rooted there for X seconds" So it becomes a even stronger zoning tool and you can use its whole potential by yourself

Does the initial portal on R has some kind of skillshot angle required to get into the portal? or any angle will do it?

The R would be a 2-time castable 2-demension axis skillshot. Like how Viktor can choose a direction to cast after an initial spot, you would be able to Hold R, and spin it on an axis for both portals. I added your suggestion into the original post. I was also thinking that maybe ranged AA and lock-on abilities could go through the portal just to change the travel time or angle around a Yasuo or Braum wall. You would still need to be in range of the enemy, but you'd just have the portal between both champions.

I feel that would be stealing too much of Veigars identity. I mean, what is his W called? Also his E is basically in reference to being trapped inside a black hole, isn't it?

His E is event horizon, which is the part of a black hole that, when something enters it, there is no escape. Just because a champion has a similar concept doesnt mean it's bad. None of his abilities are anything (mechanically) like Veigar's.

Just take Malzahar and Kassadin for example. Both void-casters. Same concept, different abilities and playstyle.Malzahar Kassadin
