Champion concept; Fate, the chosen path.

Fate is a new type of champion. The art doesn't matter, it's more the concept. You first start at a base form. And you have a set kit. Then when you hit level 6 you get a choice. You can stay the same or transform. But unlike gnar you get to choose between two forms the dark path and the light. You can only make one choice and you won't be able to transform into any other form. It's a permanent transformation. So it's two champions in one. The path of of salvation or the bath or retribution. They have different skills and attributes.

I think it's a good idea on paper but if the kits have any meaningful difference, even one being AP and the other being AD, he'd be impossible to counter. Level six is late enough to start having items, and if you were building armor and he said "lol get shit on i decided to go AP even though there was a 50% chance I could have gone AD and been equally as viable as a champion," it'd be impossible to play against him. In a game that's 20 minutes long, a lot of the game is spent at low level and being impossible to build against early wouldn't be fun. With stuff like AP vs AD Shaco, he's a jungler so it's not wise to build resistances strictly to him early, and there are ways to build around either or both.

A mechanic like him doing %health AD damage in one form and a 3hit passive true damage that scales on AP in another might be interesting but it'd be hard to make them both of equal viability so it's not a quasi-choice where it's clearly better to use one form over the other.

Hey, I made something like this once :D maybe it could help you for some ability ideas... The concepts name is Librea, The Spirits Conduit and she too choses a path between light and dark (although in her case its Creation and Destruction). She does not chose this at lvl 6 or so but in stead she is claimed by either side when she levels her ult for the third time, depending on her playstyle. I hope it helps :)
