See, the problem is you actually value the board's opinion. Doesn't matter if there's a problem or not, it matters if the boards LIKE the problem and want to overexaggerate it. It's 100% the timing. Post a Janna thread now you'll get downvoted to oblivion, wait till she's played a lot in pro play and you start seeing her a lot THEN post, you'll be on the front page in no time :)

God bless boards. You come here to give/take advice but after 2 years you learn the truth lmao

when you want a champ you don't like to get reworked so you don't need to learn how to deal with them this way you can hopefully escape bronze V with a bronze VIII type of mentality: Tryndamere Yasuo

I've been complaining about his ult forever, but nothing.

I can clearly see most of people in those threads are serious about it.

TimX24968B3 votes

nah, nobody in the elo most of these people are in know how to use or deal with him, so they just call him BS.

Sraeg20132 votes

What. What does that even mean?

I have a rough guess, but you forgot to include a lot of words in there.

As for Tryndamere himself, I too think he's annoying. Not that I can't deal with him or don't know how, it's just a chore doing so.

The simple way is to have somebody dedicated to be his babysitter whole game. The more advanced method is through quick rotations and just killing him with the team over and over, and trying to accomplish something when he's dead. Neither is funny to be a part of.

TimX24968B1 votes

well, he is "your worst nightmare" (thats kind of one of his quotes.), I imagine he does take quite a bit to deal with.

Sraeg20132 votes

As much of a nightmare as a pebble in the shoe can be.

TimX24968B1 votes

im sure it would be if it was a sharp pointy one

Sraeg20131 votes

That'd be a thorn in the side.

It's the round ones that are the worst in a shoe.

I mean, I think everyone hates tryndamere, for me it has less to do with his ult and instead his early game RNG crits. The entire early game is always dependent on how tryn trades at lvl 2 (usually 2, sometimes 3). Did he crit you 2+ times? you have to give up lane dominance and because you gave up lane dominance he was able to build up his fury. Now he has 100% fury so you are now guarenteed to lose every trade until the first back.

Also because tryn gets the shove, he will go back to base and be back in lane to resume building back his fury bar before you get back (because you have to clear the wave so it does not slow push back to him or else you are really fucked).

If you decide to back before clearing the wave and let it crash then he gets TP advantage because he wont have to TP because you have to TP back to lane to catch the wave.

All because of his lvl 2-3, its fucking bullshit.

TimX24968B2 votes

last time i checked, farming under turret was still an option, waiting until your jungler ganks.

I mean, that's what always seems to happen on the enemy team while I try to do something like this as tryndamere. EVERY. TIME.

not to mention, not every champ needs to be super teamfight centric. He is simple. He is someone one-dimensional. But thats what keeps him who he is. I feel like he is kind of a beginner champ, but the thing is, not everyone is at the LCS level people on the boards talk like the champ should be.

There are many more champs just like this, you know. Its called being early game heavy.

Glory ln Death3 votes

I think the main thing that is actually an issue is that his early game strength is entirely RNG dependent. Moving some of his power away from RNG and giving him more reliable power (where both Trynd and his opponent know he's going to be able to do something or deal an amount of damage, as opposed to hoping he does/doesn't get a random crit chain) would make his early game more healthy for both Trynd and his opponents, and push more of his early gameplay into skill, rather than luck.

TimX24968B1 votes

if thats the case, you shold already assume that he will be able to do something, instead of hoping you get lucky. If his power ended up being more reliable, it would have to be a bit stronger than you would even anticipate. Instead of assuming he won't get lucky on those crits, you should be assuming that he will. so many people think the only way to deal with your laner is by constantly 1v1ing him, and then whine about how the champ they have been fighting should be useful in a teamfigh instead of a 1v1.

Glory ln Death4 votes

It's more that Trynd is the one initiating, hoping he gets lucky. Most people are smart enough not to start an early fight with the guy who likes early fights. A little bit of RNG is fine, but when his entire game depends on whether or not he gets a lucky streak with his crits during laning phase, that's a bit of an issue.

TimX24968B1 votes

not really an issue if you ask me, but thats just tryndamere. Honestly, I feel like people need to find a way to work around things more instead of begging riot to patch them. However, he ends up building a ton of crit during that laning phase (at least 50%, plus an extra 35% from his passive), I don't see why not expecting a crit streak would be a thing...

Glory ln Death4 votes

Yeah, later in the game, it's fine. You can pretty much expect almost every hit to be a crit. Just his early game is so RNG dependent, but it basically sets up the rest of his game. He gets lucky and kills you/forces you to back with 3 crits in a row? He's going to have an advantage the rest of the laning phase. He doesn't get lucky and loses the fight because he didn't get any crits? He's not going to do to well. It's just so extreme.

In the early game, he relies a lot on luck, rather than skill. Moving some (not all) of that into something a bit more skill-based would make him more healthy. I don't think he needs anything to make him a better teamfighter, that isn't his niche. Just reduce his dependence on RNG early on.

Black Cleaver. I made a post discussion, downvoted. 2 days later. Posts to make it melee only on front-page.

Supreme Senpai691 votes

Don't feel too bad about it. Post a topic, it'll get downvoted. Literally every topic gets downvoted as soon as the salty downvote drones see it. They do this so people think their posts are better, because they have 0 or 1 upvotes. And if everyone else has -1 or -2 then they seem better!

The ones that get upvotes, the ones on the front page, just so happened to be posted at a good time such that people who aren't salty downvote drones got to it first and upvoted it

But my topic was a meme topic. I put:

Hay lets make black cleaver melee only Urgot :Existence is torment.

It was supposed to be a joke and be in memes and games but i put it in gameplay and still got 100+ upvotes anyway :\

Maybe you just need to learn how to discuss using real arguments? Ever thought of that?

For example i would not downvote somebody just because i disagree, but trash topics like "lololol champion X so op, too much damage and too tanky, no counterplay, just 1 shots you, infinite flashes, overloaded kit" will get downvoted even if the champion has a very high winrate.

These kind of one-sided rants are just redundant, plain and simple. Reading it is a waste of time unless you enjoy the comedic aspect (whether it is intended by the OP or not).

...and who cares about votes anway...
