Tricky - The Living Chest

Decided to do an electric booglaloo redo of Tricky similar to when I did it with Cross-Stitch, and wtf did I write with his backstory? Think I got a bit carried away with it, but hopefully he'll join in my run of concepts that are actually noticed (albeit Frejma was for other reasons, but I digress)

Primary: Assassin

Stats:

Health: 350 (+70)

Health Regen: 3.4 (+0.6)

Mana: 300 (+50)

Mana Regen: 6 (+0.8)

Range: 150 (Melee)

Attack Damage: 56 (+3)

Attack Speed: 0.694 (+2%)

Armor: 19.5 (+3.5)

Magic Resistance: 30 (+1.25)

Movement Speed: 355

Passive: Greedy Glutton - Every time tricky kills something, he gains +10% attack speed and 5% movement speed for 15 seconds, this may stack up to 4 times.

1st skill: Devour - Tricky throws out his tongue and pull a targeted choice, what happened afterwards depends on what is pulled.

Minions: Must be at 10/20/30/40/50% health left in order to be used. Tricky instantly devours them, healing himself and gaining a stack for Tricky Reincarnation (max 6). Buff wielding minions must be at 30% health before getting consumed. Cannot be used on the Dragon or Baron Nashor.

Champion: Tricky pulls himself towards the ally/enemy champion, swallowing them and holds them in his mouth for 3 seconds, Tricky gains 10/20/30/40/50% of the defenses the champion in his mouth has and movement speed is changed to -50/-25/0/25/50%. Tricky cannot cast any other abilities or attack when he is holding someone.

Minion Heal: 50/100/150/200/250 (+30% of AD)

Mana Cost: 80

Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16

2nd Skill: Fake Booty - Tricky spawns a fake treasure chest that's shine brightly, attracting the aggro of all minions for 3 seconds before exploding.

Damage: 75/125/175/225/275 (+50% of AP)

Mana Cost: 70/75/80/85/90

Cooldown: 16 Seconds

3rd Skill: Delicious! - Tricky licks an enemy champion, all basic attacks against that enemy gain +5/10/15/20/25 extra penetration.

Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80

Cooldown: 14 Seconds

Ultimate: Tricky Reincarnation - Tricky spews a ball of bile, upon impact the ball splaters, slowing all caught in the bile by 15/30/45% for as long as they are in it and 2 seconds after they leave it, the bile stays for 5 seconds before disappearing. Tricky also spawns a clone of himself for every stack gain from Devour, each clone lasts for 6 seconds, prioritizes champions hit affected by the bile, and inherits 25/50/75% of Tricky's base stats but cannot be controlled,.

Mana Cost: 80/100/120

Journal Entry #1:

I choose to write here a new journal as I take place with a new purpose in my life, for a long time a monster had plauged our land known simple as Emus'noc, who'd kill our people, devour our crops, demand sacrifices, and would have caused our world to end had we not weakened him enough to trap his spirit inside of a chest that we used every seal we had to prevent him from possibly leaving. My job is simple, to watch the chest and ensure none of the seals are weakened.

Journal Entry #2:

I have had some trouble sleeping recently, perhaps the thought of the demon coming back while I slumber, but I swear I have been hearing something walking when I am asleep. Could be just a rat or something...

Journal Entry #3:

Whatever those noises where, it was no damn rat, almost half of the food in my shelter has been raided, not to mention that the chest had moved from where it originally was. Also I think the lack of sleep last night has gotten to me because it looks like the chest has changed colors.

Journal Entry #6:

It's been a week and something keeps attempting to raid my food rations, I have an idea though... I shall set up a trap, I intend not to kill whatever it was, but I am certain whatever it does not belong here.

Journal Entry #7:

How... What... The chest was in the trap when I awoke, I don't understand! And does the chest have, teeth? I don't want to say something that makes no sense but it looks like a set teeth on it. I wonder...

Journal Entry #8:

I will make this one quick, I intend to keep the chest next to me as I slumber tonight, if my theory is correct, I shall report it to the high priests in hopes that they have the answer.

Journal Entry #9:

I KNEW IT! THE CHEST IS ALIVE! By her light the chest is alive... during my slumber I felt something soft and wet poking me constantly, as I turned around to see what is was I saw the beast in it's true form. The chest had opened, revealing an empty void of blackness with a set of eyes that stared blankley into me, a large, pink tounge coming out the darkness, and two reptilian-like legs had sprouted out from the bottom of it, which would explain how it moved before on other nights. As if by instant I backed up to the nearby wall, only for my own surprise to see the beast be just as afraid as well. Slowly I approached closer to it as it backed up into a corner, the thing wasn't expecting me to be alive and be just some more food. I asked myself what kind of trickery was this, only for the chest to repeat the word tricky as if it never spoke before. Seeing that the creature could talk, I decided to asked for it's name, only for it to repeat the word tricky. If Tricky is what he wants to be called, then Tricky shall be his name.

Journal Entry #10:

This morning I awoke to see Tricky no longer hiding itself as it's regular chest form, as I watched it wander around, I saw it look at everything a play with everything like it was some toy. Seems that Tricky has the mind of a child, toying with everything in an attempt to see what it is. Which would also explain why he doesn't seem to talk much to me, thinking I am a stranger.

Journal Entry #22:

It's been a week since Tricky and I met face to face, he seems to be quite comfortable around me now, speaking much more often, even if it's his speech pattern isn't exactly perfect, still referring to himself in the third person. Though he is always looking outside when I am not looking, he may small, but I do fear what damage he may cause out there if I don't keep an eye on him and escapes.

Journal Entry #25:

Today I had to go down to the village to gather some food supplies, Tricky may be small but he has the appetite of five warriors. As I left the market I was hearing screams coming from the distance, fearing for the worst I ran towards it. To my surprise it wasn't what I thought, it appears that a bunch of bandits had attempted to raid the village, but were stop by an all to familiar chest. They stared at each other for what felt like eternity before the thieves decided to strike, what happens next still haunts me. One of them raised his ax and tried to lunge forward, and Tricky simply wrapped his tongue around his arms and... And swallowed him whole. The other bandits where shocked for a moment before they all attacked at once, all focused on Tricky, one by one Tricky devoured them into the empty void that was his mouth. About halfway through the fight Tricky stopped for a moment, and a then proceeded to well... Vomit at the remaining robbers, and all those that he at before they... They were in the bile and... They changed, into... Well... Other beings that were almost identical to Tricky, right down to the third person talking, though it appears they recalled their old names. The remaining thieves at this point were completely terrified and ran for their lives. After which I approached Tricky and the others, both shocked at what he did, but at the same time... I felt happy that he was safe. The Tricky clones simple danced with joy before they dissipated in glows of a purple energy, I asked him what where they went, and Tricky answered by saying he didn't know, but where ever it was, it was a safe home where they belonged. I again asked how he knew this, but Tricky simply stated he just felt them being happy where they are, and asked if we could go home. Trying to understand Tricky's logic is, quite fittingly, Tricky...

Journal Entry #63:

It has been three months since Tricky has entered my life, and I have been working on a theory as to why he exists. It is no surprise that him defending the village from those bandits got the attention of the high priests, and when they asked me about where he came from, I reluctantly told them everything. As I did they had a semi worried look on them, as if an apocalypse was coming or something. But then I remembered, Tricky was a magical chest that sealed the spirit of Emus'noc, perhaps the combination of the magic and the spirit is what gave Tricky life, and they perhaps are afraid that it is Emus'noc reincarnated. But if that is what they are thinking, then they are wrong, I know Tricky, I was the first person to be there when he started living. I actually talked to him, I gave him food, a home... He is no monster like the beast before him... I know what I must do, it may go against what my people, but Tricky is like a son to me, and I do not want them to do anything to them.

Dear whoever reads this:

If you are reading this, I am long gone... Me and Tricky did a few experiments with is ability to take living beings and turn them into versions of himself, and we realized that whatever is in contact with them when the warp away is taken with them. After confirming this I told Tricky about what happened with me and the higher priests and what I planned on doing. Tricky look completely heartbroken when I told him it was time to leave, I was the only being he knew that cared for him, he didn't want to leave me, but I told him he wasn't going alone. As I am writing this, I am packing up the last of my belongings as Tricky is looking out the window. There is a glow coming closer, they will not be able to find us any in time though... Though we doubt there is enough time for Tricky to find some animal or outlaw for him to eat to make a clone of himself... There is only one choice left.

Journal Entry #64:

I hope he is safe, I wish I could have written this earlier, but it is hard to since the transformation took place, tounges aren't the best tool for writing and I don't exactly have an easy way to use my new feet as hands. As you can guess though I let Tricky use me in order for us to get out of the village and to where the other clones are. The transformation was, odd, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it was, it was like someone was pinching me here and there, which every pinch I slowly became more and more like him. Once he... regurgitated me, I was surprised as how easy it was to walk with my new legs, but I didn't want to waste any time and began collecting everything. Once everything was collected I told tricky to grab on so we could leave together. But instead he... He said he was sorry as he pushed me back, by the time I regained my footing I was surrounded by the same glow that had happened to all the others as he waited by the banging door. When I awoke I was greeted by all the other clones that had warped before me, and I was able to take a look at the area, I still do not know where this world is but I am right to assume this is where Emus'noc was born. But even writing this I still fear why Tricky didn't join and what happened to him. Please Tricky give me a sign...

Journal Entry #70:

Rejoice! I felt hope was lost for the safety of my little Tricky, but as I was giving up a new clone had warped to our village! And not only that but he had with him a letter that he was told to give to me! As I read it I felt relived, he was safe... He is safe... I may not be able to write back, but I know that one day he will be able to return, and then this village will be truly complete.

Tricky's letter:

Dear Father,

As you read this, you are now aware that Tricky is okay. Tricky is sorry for abandoning you, but there is so much of this world Tricky has not seen that Tricky couldn't leave it just yet, plus Tricky had doubts that Tricky could leave like the others could. After you warped home, Tricky waited for the people to come, and when they asked for Tricky to come out, Tricky did calmly without a fight. Tricky is no monster like they think Tricky is, which surprised them long enough that Tricky didn't do anything like eat their faces that the let their guard down enough for Tricky to escape. Granted they may have chased down Tricky, but they really are bad at it when they accidentally started to burn their own houses and had to stop the chase in order to stop the fires. By the time the fires stopped Tricky was long gone.

Of course Tricky didn't leave without a trail for the "supreme fighter" of the village, but when Tricky wrote this he decided to surprise Tricky, needless to say he didn't exactly last long before Tricky ate him and did the make more Tricky power Tricky has. Then Tricky will give him letter before he warps and now you should hopefully have it when you get to reading this.

But as Tricky stated, there is so much of this world Trick hasn't seen, and Tricky wants to see it all before Tricky finds a way to get to new home. Tricky tried to warp using Tricky clones, but alas that didn't seem to work for some reason, which is another reason why Tricky didn't come with you. Hopefully, Tricky will find way to figure out where you all are and find a way to get there, but till then Tricky will find a way to manage by himself. From what Tricky has heard there is a place where alot of strong people come to fight, perhaps if Tricky beats them up, Tricky may get some answers!

Tricky would write more, but man is waking up now... gotta wrap this up!
