Someone asked for a gromp champion concept.

In a thread on GD I believe someone asked for ideas for a gromp based champion. I made one and it did not seem too bad so now I am looking for opinions.

Original Passive. Corrosive Saliva. Gromp's basic attacks reduce targets resistances by X and deal damage over time. Edit. Passive change requested by op to be more like his smite bonus. Also may as well include why I want certain skills to do what they do.

New passive when asked to change it. Poison skin. Basic attacks and single target spells against gromp poison that enemy for X times level damage over time. Scales with health or scales with resist similar to how randuins scales. Whichever would be healthier. Deals double damage to monsters and minions.

Why? Well it works how his smite bonus works I just added in the single target spells so that it is relevant against some mages. Now it will not be helpful vs aoe skills but it is a passive. It doesnt need to be good in 100% of situations. I want this champion to be a tank which is why it scales with tank stats. I also like tanks being able to jungle which is why it deals double damage to monsters and minions.

Due to how numbers are super important I want him to have lots of areas where numbers can be adjusted rather than just having his skills cover a lot of bases.

Q. Fly Catcher: Gromp flicks his tongue forward dealing damage and knocking aside enemies. Enemies hit by the tip of the tongue at max range are pulled to gromp.

Why? He is a frog so I feel this would make sense + it is how he attacks you in jungle anyway. The ability having hard cc is to help with his peel and the hook gives him a way to initiate + peel. Now I know what people are going to say that it would be broken because of how blitz isnt that healthy. Here is how it functions. The tongue does not pull you unless you are standing at the spot where the tongue ends. So he has to get a max range hit on you to pull you and nothing but max range will pull you. The hitbox wouldnt be super crazy like blitz think more like...idk leona ult center.

W. Ronintoadin. Gromp stealths himself for X seconds. Then gains an armor and mr buff for X seconds after unstealthing.

The stealth is just so he can approach. The bonus stats are to help with his tanking. I could have done something special here idk but either way I like it.

E. Hop to it. Gromp jumps to target location leaving a sticky pool where he originates and lands slowing enemies. If He lands on a champion he deals magic damage.

Why? I apologize for the puns but it's who I am. Anyway the jump and sticky substance are just something that I felt fit on a frog champion. If a giant frog landing on you doesnt hurt then you are clearly too strong.

R. Toad'l destruction. Gromp opens his mouth spitting out a wave of frogs. Frogs the hit enemy champions deal magic damage while frogs that do not will hope toward enemy champions for 5 seconds then explode if they haven.t reached a target. Their movespeed scales based on your movespeed.

Why? Okay this was just meant to be a silly name. However the concept for what it did actually came to me because of the silly name. I wanted to give him a way to deal a decent amount of damage however I wanted to give a meaningful choice to his opponents. You can dodge the frogs and avoid their damage or you can tank them and keep fighting.

The frogs have no cc unless you build rylais but they can be used to zone people off of paths. How the frogs work. You spit them to target area say about a 300-400 diameter and when I think of how many frogs it will be I want it to be a lot of frogs. As for how much damage they dealt that can be tuned but the goal is to keep him a threat. Do I walk through the frogs to try to escape or do I take another route that may be slower. During a gank it would give him a psuedo trundle pillar but the frogs also do actively pursue you so even if you miss its not a useless skill.

Best I could come up with.
