Another bloodmoon elise thread

Every time i criticize a skin i always like to preface it with the fact that riot's artists and animators are better than i will ever be.

Could it please look more menacing? I know they already stated their defense of using pink but come on this is elise not heartseeker ashe...

Please tell me for the love of god that i can taunt to flip the mask down. That alone would make the skin so much more menacing.

I love the spider form but the human form just isnt doin it for me.

thresh's bloodmoon looks awesome and dark why does an evil half human half spider queen have bright happy colors?

Unfortunately, you can't toggle her mask.

We felt that since her base used a lot of red-themed particles, using red again wouldn't really be much different from the base, and that's not cool. So, we instead used dark pinks!

I personally don't feel like she comes off as 'bright and happy' since a lot of her skin uses deep pinks/purples, as opposed to brighter ones. Which parts of her skin are you referring to specifically?

Her mask is similar to Akali, in a sense it's on top of her head and not on the face.

I love the skin. It's very evil and seductive, like a succubus.

Well, my opinion is that, while it's a nice looking skin, nothing screams Blood Moon to me. Sure, there is the Oni Mask, but for one, it's barely even noticable in her human form.

There's also that she just pulls a pre-color rework Battlecast Xerath on the skin line. Every other Blood moon skin revolves around reds and whites(and grey I suppose, armor n all), and then Elise 's skin comes marching in dunning colors more in line with Order of the Lotus.

And also, I don't think it's fair to use the fact that Elise features red in her main skin as a reason not to give the skin appropriate colors, White on Red looks much different then Red on Black. And if that'ss till an issue, why'd she get the skin in the first place. Blood moon Jinx coulda been cool, with a big ole' oni Fishbones. Just sayin.

As an artist and a player, I feel like the red tones alone give the skin a menacing touch (not to mention she is half spider). I also feel that Elise's "human" form has always given off a seductress type feel as well as a royal one. I do agree that the mask movement would be a very interesting but I do not share the opinion that it would make her more menacing. On another note, the original pink color worked very nicely with the rest of the color pallet and particle effects, but I feel that the red color gives a much better contrast between her human-like skin and her wardrobe. If the Riot team were to revert back to a more pink hue, I believe that the new color should meet in the middle between the original and the new revised red. Unlike the beta Bloodmoon Thresh, I feel that Bloodmoon Elise has the perfect balance of red in the skin, and for the skin artists who worked on it, great job with the entire color scheme! I look forward to more beautiful skins such as this one.

Its such a disappointment I just bought this Elise Blood moon skin and its not blood moon its like pink and why are the legs on her back yellow?? I am so disappointed and sad, I wish i could refund this but no tokens! Riot please fix her she is pink instead of red and her belt is white?? i don't understand and her yellow feet should be pink like her skin or black like her feet like nothing matches!!! I'm legit crying how stupid the combination looks :'(!!!!
