3 sword style champion for the top lane

I'm not sure if my concept could be used in the top lane... but what about a person with a sword, and two phantoms that follow him with one sword each. They wouldn't attack anything passively, but could be manipulated with the champion's abilities.
His Q could be an area damage, causing a phantom to slash in a target direction. This ability would choose a random phantom, and it would be an area around that phantom. Additionally, this would have charges based on his phantoms
His W could either absorb all of the phantoms into him for his next auto to deal number of phantomsx damage, or have the phantoms attack passively while turned on, at the cost of mana/sec.
His E could make him switch positions with a phantom, at the cost of health and mana.
His ult... well I don't know. Possibly a passive that spawns more phantoms, or make them all attack randomly, dealing massive damage in an area?
His passive could make a phantom jump into an enemy when he lands an auto attack. After a short duration, the phantom would leave, dealing damage. Maybe alt-clicking would send a random phantom to that location? Anyway, I'm out of time. I like this idea, so I might build on it later. :D
