Kindred Ultimate Rework.

So, I've been playing Kindred since her release. Not a dedicated Kindred main, but plenty enough to love and enjoy the character as a Jungler, though I mainly play her on other accounts (this being my top lane account).

Her recent buffs have been good, her jungle clear is far better, invading is easier and getting stacks isnt as tedious as what it was before the buffs came through, so thank you Riot for that.

But theres still one problem that I've always had with Kindreds ultimate, Lamb's Respite is and always has been sort of mediocre. While it has the capability to make some amazing plays, its over all sup-par, basically a Tryndamere ult but as an AOE. Half of the time the enemy benefits off the ultimate far more than you or your allies can and these days theres so many ways to counter it. Heck, one mage with a morello and the ults heal is basically rendered useless for both you and your allies.

Theres also the underlying issue that the inclusion of Wolf in Kindreds character is rather boring, despite wolf being an energetic and over all appealing character. He's only included in one ability directly and is 'kinda' included in her E, but over all its mainly still just Lamb. When people think of Kindred, they mostly see Lamb and rarely see Wolf despite it being a pair and not one champion alone.

So, I thought I'd offer some ultimate ideas that may change things up a bit for Kindred.

The first idea I had acts similar in a way of Warwicks W passive and Quinns/Kleds ultimate. On the Hunt is a targeted ability that focuses on the currently marked enemy. Wolf embraces the chase, sniffing out the location of their marked target and swiftly bounds across the map, charging towards his prey with Lamb swiftly behind him. Once Wolf connects with his target, they will be briefly slowed by 80% for 1 second and be dealt 50/100/ 200 to 150/200/300 (+20% bonus) (Damage based on distance traveled, similar to Jinx's rocket.) AD while Lamb stays behind at auto attack range. Kindreds W will be immediately activated at its current level (if it as a skill point)

This ultimate is designed to work around Kindreds excellent hunting capabilities as a character. She excels at dueling characters alone and kiting out prey. This would also aid in the still rather tedious process of getting stacks for her. This would make Kindred a ever present threat on the map, forcing the enemy team to at the very least work in pairs and protect marked allies even more, lest they risk giving Kindred power.

The second idea was something along the lines of Quinns old ultimate. Ravenous Hunt, Wolf briefly takes control of the hunt, gaining increased HP (200/300/400) , +20%/30%/40% bonus attack damage, 30%/40%/50% movement speed and gains melee ranged auto attacks for 15 seconds. Killing a target while in this form will give Kindred a mark regardless of who is marked. During this ultimate, wolfs Q will be a short dive forward while releasing a terrifying howl, slowing enemies in a small aoe by 20%. His W will be a linear dash that stops when hitting an enemy, doing a small amount of damage and slowing them for 50%, and her E would be similar to her E as is, but at melee range.

This ultimate is mainly focused completely around dueling, hunting down split pushers or any targets that dare to be alone while also giving her a chance to run down those pesky runners and secure extra marks to further her base power and push her into more midgame rather than such a heavily focused late-game champion while still giving it a risk of forcing her onto the front lines, since even with the bonus health she'd be rather squishy and even easier to be crowd controlled. Characters with a lot of mobility with things like dashes or characters with plenty of crowd control would shut something like this down with ease.

Now, mind you, these are just ideas and thoughts I've played around with is all, I'm by no means a developer. I'm just a visual effects artist (particles and junk, you know, dat fancy fire). If you have any other ideas or the likes, please, do post them here, its always fascinating listening to what other players thing may be good for a character as interesting as Kindred! And as always, if you like this idea, be sure to up-vote it so others can see it!

I like the second one. But honestly as a full on kindred main ive grown accustomed to lambs respite. I'd be heart broken if it went away.
