The search for the Truth: Part 1
There's not much of an intro to this, but I'm not very good at beginnings, I'm more of a "find out as you go" kind of guy, this one is going to be short just to see if people are interested, if they are then perhaps I'll write more, but if not then this will be the only installment. I hope you enjoy.
"Why do the creatures of this world cling to life so desperately, only to have it ripped away from them at a moment's notice? Why do they choose to go on, to continue upon this wayward path of torment, when they as all other creatures know that it will always come to an end sooner or later? Giving in to the void, of which all are spawned in one way or another, is so much easier. Why do they fight a useless battle, and not simply return to where they came from? Is it simply to live, to laugh? But there is even more pain, sadness, suffering. Why do they not let go of it all and slip into the endless sleep of peace? They try to stay alive but they know their life will soon be over. What reason is there to life? What Meaning? Is it simply to be? To teach us a lesson? No, it is but nothing. But if it is nothing why do these creatures cling to it? Why, why, WHY! I must know why! These questions in my mind of which I was born with must be answered! There can be no peace without answers! I must find out what it is in life that they do not want to let go! I was born from the void with questions, and I will return to the void with answers. All who enter the void gain enlightenment of everything but even though I was created directly from it I retain none of that knowledge. Therefore I must go out, and make my own knowledge, by whatever means necessary." And with that he flew out across the wasteland, in search of knowledge and answers.
