AD support (yes or no)

They would likely have to be melee, otherwise they would be played as a utility ADC (like Ashe).

AD items tend to be a bit more... selfish, I guess? What kind of AD support are you thinking of? Something aggressive like Leona, except AD-based?

They would need to ad an item life Spellthiefs in order to Make it fit, but then like most mages, people will start taking assassins bot and that could be some real trouble.

Instead of a new champion I would rather see the lines between official roles blurred a bit. Why can't "support" champs solo lane or jungle? Why can't non-assassin fighters go mid? And most applicably why can't Marksmen fill the support role?

Each of these can work of course with a little effort, however Riot supporting meta roles does kind of force champions either into a particular role or out of roles they could otherwise fill.

I was playing gp as a tanky ad support before the rework. It was fun, i was building . If there was another support i could build like this, i would be pretty happy.

Only issue is all the support items in the game currently are all ap based, we can't expect Riot to make a whole new set of items for a single person.
