Victorious Maokai?

Seeing as the skin is a reward for achieving a decent rank in League of Legends. As a player I know how much time we all put into this game and I'm sure most of us even appreciate what Riot does. But this is our game, and it might be free. But in no way do we not pay for it with blood sweat and tears. Buying loads of RP, dealing with toxic players and still being faithful to the game. As a loyal player of League of legends, Riot can you please let us vote on a better champion for the skin. There are champions with 1 skin, and several with 10+. Can you please let your players, (the community) decide what they want?

Hell i'm a ryze/nidalee main and if it was victorious ryze i would still be like "WTF?". I'm sure a lot of mordekaiser mains would think the same thing, but good job making a large assumption about people.

Frankly I would be depressed. Victorious skins are given to champions that are in the upper echelon of popularity and efficacy (has had a large impact on play throughout the season) Also known as highest ban/pick/ win rates. Morde is none of these and saying he is would be just an attempt by riot to sweep (the garbage state he has been in for a year) under the rug

"better" at the very least means that there are superior options for the skin. At the worst it's just a nice way of saying "no one wants victorious maokai.

was only set up to counter the inevitable "well we play riot's game so we deserve stuff".

Sure i overestimated your hate of riot, but at this point I'm so conditioned to expect everyone on the boards to just despise their every action (See Vanishh) that i can't help but make that assumption.

Dont act like this victorious skin is even good. Lets be real, this was a bigger disappointment then when diana didnt qualify for the blood moon skin .-.

I mean, it is a reward for players who climbed, why give a gift that nobody wants? There are many other f2p games by the way, also they make millions off us, they could probably listen to us just a tad more.

No one made you climb. You climbed in ELO because you had your own reasons for it, but if that reason was "i want 950 rp skin at the end of the season", there are far more efficient ways of spending your time.

Plenty of people want this champion and skin.

Why should they listen to you if you spend money on the game? Does that mean if i pay riot 2 million i get to be CEO even with no experience running a company or game?

Are you actually that stupid? The skin is in a sense an incentive to beat bronze/silver, Don't patronize someone for playing the same game as you. Really? Because his play rate is 2.29% . Thats awfully low. "Plenty" Mmkay/ When did i say specifically me. Many people pay for skins etc. You do realize they would make MORE money by releasing a victorious skin that more people would buy because the champion is more appealing? No? Of course you don't, but please continue telling me how little i know.

no. The reward for getting out of bronze, is getting out of bronze and achieving a higher ranked score

that's still a good 800,000 players at the least. That's ignoring the fact that it also gives him to you for free, and gives you a free skin>therefore giving people more reason to play him.

Say it with me. Incentive - a thing that motivates or encourages one to do something. <Definition> Some people are turned off by ranked and that extra incentive would turn more people on to it
The reason people dont play him, isnt because they dont own him
I actually was unaware that the skin itself was free.

thanks for posting a definition. Those "people" who are being turned off by ranked are most likely not going to start playing ranked because of one skin.

The skin is already done for the most part and will be appearing soon on the PBE. They can't make another one with the season ending in less then a month as these skins usually take at least 6 months to plan out.
