I feel like it's been at least 6 or 7 months since a female mage skin was released.... Nothing for Zyra, nothing for nami, syndra, ahri, lulu, janna, raka, morg, karma, ori, sona....etc... As someone that only plays these champs it kind of sucks that league just pumps out melee skins. Mages need loving too....
Yes I know empress lux came out, but that was legit it, and on lux who already has a crap ton of skins...

Barley2 votesYet youre not complaining about all the other champs that need skins. Mundo, Kench, Kayn, and all of those. Syndra got an SKT skin, Ahri got an SG skin and shes Ahri, and Ori got a skin within a year. Still.

Sure some of these are definitely in no need of a new skin for a while (Lux just got a release since the turn of the year, while Ahri, Soraka, and Syndra were part of Star Guardian season 2, Janna's last skin came around in the second half of last year) but the rest of them haven't had a skin release in the last year. Any of those it wouldn't be any problem if they received a skin.
Sona in particular hasn't received a skin in over two years. Actually, if you rank champions by how long it's been since their last non-esports skin, Sona is hovering around number 20. From this list, Nami isn't very far behind her.
Some of these are pretty odd choices to ask for another skin, but a few others on the other hand have been waiting quite a while for their next one

Extending it to a more-reasonable year since last skin release(excluding esports skins, of course) leaves Orianna, Zyra, Lulu, Nami, and Sona. Sona in particular hasn't had a skin in over two years, and Nami will be in the same boat by the month's end.
Hethalean1 votesWell, there is that but saying 'female mage / mage support' is a fairly small subset of champions. It's roughly (listed below) 7% of all champions in which quite a lot of them have a skin in the last year / year and a half.
I would say it's a safe estimation that Riot releases 2.5 to 3 skins on average per patch with maybe 26 patches a year. This comes out to 70 ish skins coming out. Last year only 62 skins came out. There've only been 30 skins in the last 6 months. All of the ones I listed (help me if I missed anyone. I didn't include Elise since I'm not sure if she's a mage... but then again she got one late last year).
I'm not saying some champions get more skins than they need, but most of the champions in this category are either ahead of schedule or simply just 'due' given the pure number of skins coming out which is like... only 4 champions in the list. Idk things seem ok to me.
