You people are ACTUALLY playing the victim because you're a "cis-gendered male" used to privilege, and NEVER having to deal with discrimination, or sexism in your entire life -- and you're throwing temper tantrums on the forums because of an HOUR AND A HALF that other privileged males like you, are excluded from!?!?!

LOLOLOLOL THIS IS GREAT.

I can't tell if this is satirical.

But Men have also historically been discriminated against. We just don't talk about it.

Cough Military (In a way you may not understand), Nursing, Caregiving, Suicide Rates, Jail, Custody, Allegations, Death Rates

Etc.

What's wrong with people wanting other people treated equally?

Rathar Dashing9/1/2018, 5:31:01 PM3 votes

As someone who's supposedly experienced exclusion, you above all people should be appalled that this is going on in the first place. We've moved past segregation. This is taking a step backwards.

Wondering how many people realize that this is a troll and how many people take this seriously.

[sg-lux-2]

Come on guys, no one with half a brain actually talks like that. And if someone did, those aren't the kind of people able to be swayed by intelligent discourse.

Well you are wrong. Men aren't discriminating women. Women are discriminating women. here is how:

Studies have proven that on every measure taken, Slut shaming happens predominantly by Women. So Women slutshame Other Women more than men ever did on every Publified Study proven.

Women can Sue men for Child support money over literally any and every reason Whereas Men have a 1 in 15 chance of even winning custody at all. Women can even sue their Rape victims for child support money if they are over 18 years old and got them pregnant. Don't believe me? Google Hermesses vs Seyer or Kansas Custory laws.

Women always portray other women as the victim, publicly preaching mentalities of them being the weaker sex. In other words, Women are saying women are weaker. Men don't. Women assume that if a Woman doesn't see herself as the victim, she sees herself as the perpetrator.

Women, Feminists for the matter, tell non-naziistic Women to get raped and killed when a lot of times, the people whom they say that to are survivors of the very thing, and when told so, they respond with "we are not all like that, thats not real feminism" rather than "i'm sorry"

Speaking about earlier addressed points. Women are proven to be unable to govern anything. Remember that Company that let an all-female team build a bridge? Said Bridge collapsed, killed 16 people, a handful of them were children too, and the company is facing over a billion dollar charges and a lawsuit. Additionally to that, the founding mothers of Feminism can't even decide anymore what feminism is. Feminists have more than 20 different alterations to their claims of what they are and aim to achieve.

Black people oppress themselves by promoting violence within their culture. In the same 50 years the Black Lives Matter and Black Rights Act movements made their rise, the number of Black Single mothers in the usa jumped from around 15 to over 80%. the death rate for minors jumped to over 60% and their crime rate doubled. Self entitled Black Activists have promoted violence amongs themselves and against the country which is inheritly killing their own people, and refuse to promote peaceful movements and demonstrations that don't end in several thousands of dollars of damage from vandalism.

White men don't oppress you. You oppress yourself.

You don't fight as you're calling it "privileged" people by shutting them out and catering to just the minority. That's actually quite the opposite. You don't fight racism with "positive racism" by excluding white people. You don't fight sexism with "positive sexism" by excluding males. You don't fight homophobia by denying heterosexuals. All that does is make the excluded LESS likely to acknowledge or care about your issues because you're saying that regardless of how much they actually do/did help they're part of the problem just for being them.

There is oppression of all sorts every day even in non-backwards countries - oppression of women, oppression of minorities, oppression of men by women in retaliation for past oppression of women, oppression of non-minorities by minorities cuz... your people oppressed their people in the past - regardless of whether or not you oppress minorities or do everything in your power to fight for their benefit.

Let me tell you a few stories to hopefully drive some points home.

  1. There was this amazing scientist who came to my school to talk about her job working on defense projects for the gov. She told about how minorities and women are under-represented by in the sciences - especially at higher levels and pay. So she makes an effort to increase the representation of these groups by trying to hire such people whenever possible. As a white male, I was like... that's cool. Increasing diversity and really working to get more women and/or minorities to become top level scientists is a good thing. But then she took it one step too far. She basically told everyone that if you are white and male then you've been spoon fed everything your entire life, you all come from upper middle class, mommy and daddy pay for everything, and you are guaranteed good job w/o having to lift a finger and never want for anything in your life. I can get on board with the first half and completely support that. But when you start assuming I and every other person who is white and male gets everything handed to us and we do not have to work for anything... that's as big a lie as saying every black likes chicken, every German is angry Nazi (I'm part German btw, so I think I can say this to illustrate point), or that every Asian is a math genius. It's a blatant lie and does more harm than good in regards to getting more people to be open-minded.

  2. I'm also part Irish (2nd highest percent of my heritage, next to German). I understand very well the heritage of slavery in my country's history. I understand and have seen some of the racism. But it is not one-sided. I get that there's some extra weight that may be felt by an African American in society - moreso depending on where they grow up and the culture of that area - because of their race or nationality due to this history, and I feel for them. But the answer to overcoming this is to teach each new generation so that we improve as a society at being able to look at issues from multiple viewpoints and go... I see where this person is coming from - even if I don't agree with them, I can understand their thinking and respect them. One of my co-workers is originally from Somalia - he's African American - and we both are capable of seeing from other people's perspectives like this which is one reason why I love talking with him. We'll get into serious discussions about events in the news or about people we know or just lighter hearted discussions too. And regardless of whether we agree or disagree, we're respectful to each other. So even if we have different views (happens less than you'd think), it's never an issue of racism by either person.

People need to learn to see that bigger picture and to ask the right questions when they see stories on the news for instance. Because the stories told by the news these days often miss key facts which played a role into the outcome. And as far as oppression goes... back to my heritage. I'm part Irish... so should I go and ask for reparations from the U.K. government for oppressing my people in the past for many generations? Should I be naturally distrusting or angry towards British people for their history with my Irish ancestors? If not, then how many generations back is this allowed before we have to stop assuming based on gender, race, religion, etc.? Also... most Union soldiers were Irish immigrants straight off the boat so... does that mean I should be more well-liked by African Americans than any other "Caucasian" people group? I don't think so.... although this is exactly the type of "people-lumping" used to discriminate - be it against my minorities, against women, or against past oppressors (typically white, or male, or both). Point being... people-lumping like this is a terrible idea and people need to get over it. Be more open-minded like my co-worker and me. Don't assume based on gender, religion, race, etc. Learn to see from the other person's perspective and give them the benefit of the doubt until/unless proven otherwise. Sometimes people from other cultures, regions, religions, etc. can open your eyes to new understanding and be some of the coolest people you meet. This holds true no matter what people-lumping group(s) you are from.
