Are Reworks Worth It?
Most of you and probably all of you have noticed huge changes in League like the fan service (Baker Pantheon and Satan Teemo), needed changes to some characters, and champs like Kled charging in like Garen but with no reports of yelling "Demacia" on top of a mountain... but regular screams.
Riot has had reworks (In my opinion) far too many, most of them were unneeded
while others were needed like
to make them in a meta. Reworks mean a lot to mains and I never really mained anyone to fully know the feel of a champion in and out, but I can feel how one sees so much progress gone to ash and dust. Reworks that Riot make are somewhat unnecessary and can become a snowballing problem when you have champs who are already a problem
and it is still happening. Riot said after the Yorick Rework
that they will be working on Warwick, The Blood Hunter
and Galio, the Sentinel's Sorrows
also most likely Urgot, the Headsman's Pride
, while I get that champs are good and bad in situations it doesn't mean that you have to rework it and make it different. All or most champs are good as it is and don't require reworks like Galio, the Sentinal's Sorrows
since he is being used in Gold Ranked games as well as Singed, the Mad Chemist
!! This is really huge as well as Urgot, the Headman's Pride
being useful to misplace the enemies' assassins with his ult or Galio's Passive rewarding magic resist more then AP. Riot or anyone that works at Riot please think this out, what if some reworks aren't needed like Warwick, the Blood Hunter
or Urgot, the Headman's Pride
but focus on the big needed reworks like Ekko, the Boy Who Shattered Time
, please Riot hear this out (Also it would be really cool if it happened).
Thank you to anyone who read this, and good luck on the Rift or whatever place it is.
