Champion concept - Xion, the Taoist
Random champ idea.
Xion, The Taoist. Concept:
Play style: Xion uses charges in place of mana to place talismans on the field around him. Each individual talisman has a relatively small affect, but produces a much stronger localized effect when activated with his ult. Talismans that are near each other when activated gain bonus effects. This gives Xion a lot of zone control to match his spam-able abilities. In lane phase, he excels in creating a hazardous lane for his opponents by ensuring his talismans are liberally placed and exploiting his lack of mana. His ideal goal should be the zoning of the enemy champions, though he can also use his abilities defensively to create a "safe zone" where his ADC can be easily and readily peeled. He has to be careful when he has no talismans out, however, since their individual power is lack luster. He struggles a bit more during team fights since his best case scenario (all talismans are out) can't be achieved in the time it takes a wukong/Oriana initiation. When attacked, he should focus on creating a safe zone for his team to either retreat or regain the initiative. When attacking, he should apply aggressive talismans preemptively to pressure the enemy further. When baiting, he's as lethal as an AP shaco (except he needs a team mate to deal damage).
Abilities:
Passive - Talisman magic: Xion uses charges in place of mana. If he doesn't activate any abilities for 4 seconds, he regenerates his missing charges. Each of Xion's non-ultimate abilities share a 3/2.5/2/1.5/1/.5/.25 second global cool-down. This can not be reduced by CDR. Each of Xion's non-ult abilities remain in play for 5 seconds after casting and can be "activated" by his ult. When activated, they gain benefits from other near by talismans.
Q - Talisman of disruption: Knocks up nearby enemies <in melee range> for .01/.1/.15/.2/.25 seconds . The talisman remains suspended in place for the next 5 seconds. Activation: Creates a field <Lissandra's W range> that slows enemies for 5/10/15/20/25% (+1% per 10 AP) around all grouped talismans. Multiple Disruption talismans in a group will cause the effect to stack additively (2 disruptions = 60% slow).
W - Talisman of Weakness: Xion throws a talisman <linear skill shot> that sticks to the first enemy it hits dealing low damage. The talisman will land on the ground if it reaches maximum range without hitting an enemy. Damage from multiple talismans will stack. Activation: All grouped talismans cause near by enemies <in Lissandra's W range> to lose 1/2/3/4/5% (+1% per 100 AP) AR and MR each second for 5 seconds (max 3 stacks). Multiple Weakness talismans will cause the effect to stack additively.
E - Talisman of Enhancement: Throws a talisman <linear skill shot> that sticks to the first allied champion it hits granting them 20% (+1% per 10 AP) bonus move speed for 3 seconds. Multiple talismans stack. Activation: All grouped Talismans grant near by allies <in Lissandra's W range> 5/10/15/20/25 (+1 per 10 AP) bonus AR and MR. Multiple Enhancement talismans cause the effect to stack additively.
R - Activation: Passive: Xion begins play with this ability unlocked. Xion has 2/3/4/5 charges. Xion activates all talismans in 1000 range. Activated talismans gain a medium damage DoT and effects based on how many of each type were activated.
- Activated talismans become grouped, refreshing their durations and sharing their activated effects. Talismans can only be activated once.
welp... here's a random half-baked concept. Feel free to start picking it apart (or just generically down-voting). P.S.: I'm not a numbers person. go easy on those. (>_>)
