You are playing with people anywhere between bronze 3-silver 3 and any time you have a gold in your game they do quite well.

Your rank is unranked, your skill level is probably around high bronze/low silver like most unranked.

There actually is a hidden MMR that exists even if you are unranked, the normal queue uses this for matchmaking purposes.

So even if you are unranked, one can use those you often play against to determine your skill level and get an estimated range for what rank you would be if you actually played ranked.

So even when unranked, you can be ranked. THERE IS NO ESCAPE!!!!

Nono, you fail to understand.

You are unranked, yet despite this fact there is an MMR, a number that is representative of your skill relative to other players (Similarly numbered players have a similar skill level). Therefore, if a person who has a similar number to you (And is thus likely placed with/against you during your unranked games) happens to have a rank, you can therefore assume that if you had played ranked, your having a similar skill level to that person would mean you would end up in the same or similar rank.

THEREFORE, if your Hidden MMR (Named so because it cannot be seen and is only used by RIot) places you, in normal games, against, for example, gold V players, you are probably about the same skill level as a gold V player, and can therefore be assumed to be Gold V, even if you do not officially have the rank.

Using LOGIC and RATIONAL THINKING, I have found a way to RANK an UNRANKED player.

Unranked, by definition, is to be without a rank. Therefore an unranked player, by definition, can not be ranked. For if the unranked player were to be ranked, they would no longer be unranked. A player cannot be simultaneously ranked and unranked (Schrodinger excluded).

You assume that Ranked and Unranked are two mutually exclusive states, that it is impossible to have both.

However that is not the case!

Ranked and Unranked are not mutually exclusive, seeing as they are words, and can have multiple meanings. You can be "Unranked" in the sense that you do not possess and official rank that shows on your profile, however despite this you can still be "ranked" in the sense that you are of the skill level pertaining to said rank, to be "ranked among x people", using the word more as a verb to express a state than as a status itself.

So while you are Unranked in that you do not have an official, named ranked. You are also ranked in that there is a certain skill bracket that you fall in (As all players of this game must fall into a skill bracket, for simply playing the game allows a metric of skill to be drawn) that can be named in reference to the official rankings so as to give observers an idea of your skill level.

If you are as good as a Gold V player, but do not yourself possess a rank, it can be assumed that if you were to play ranked you would likely achieve Gold V. Thusly, it can be accurately and correctly stated that you "are a Gold V player", even though you have not put in the effort to earn an official ranking.

You failed to see my point, every word in the english language has a meaning. Some words can have multiple meanings.

I do not mean you are Ranked in the sense that you are of x rank, I mean Ranked in the sense that your skill level would put you among those of the described rank. So while you are Unranked, you do not possess an official rank, you can still "rank" among players of a certain skill bracket, and be associated with them when one refers to their rank.

To use an example, if one Cube has a sticker on it, and one does not. Is the cube without a sticker no longer a cube?

No, it is still a cube, despite it not having a sticker (We could call it being Unstickered), the fact remains that it is a cube, and is no different from the stickered cube except that the stickered cube possesses a sticker. So when I refer to the stickered cube, or a group of stickered cubes with the same traits, so long as the traits that define that stickered cube would also apply to the unstickered cube (To relate this to you, your skill level and the skill level of the rank of players you play with in normals being the defining trait by which the ranked players are grouped), we can effectively place the unstickered cube in the same group as the stickered cubes, despite it not being a stickered cube.

So while one cube is stickered, and one is unstickered (Or in your case one player is ranked and you are unranked), both cubes can still be referred to by way of the general group (In my previous examples, the group is a specific method of using the term "Gold V" players to refer to a bracket of skill, rather than a possession of rank. For example, a gold V player could buy a plat account, but would regardless remain a Gold V player).

By this logic, I could refer to you as a Gold V player, because your skill level is similar to other Gold V players. Such that if you were to theoretically play ranked, you would end up receiving the same sticker as the other Gold V players. However you do not play ranked, and will never have that sticker. But all the same your skill level being where it is, I can still refer to you as a member of any group where the members are defined by a skill bracket in which you belong.

Whether you claim I am ranked, have ranked, or are ranked among is irrelevant if I am unranked. As "unranked" I am without rank, have not been ranked, do not rank among, and am devoid of foul odor. So While I am "unranked," I cannot rank among those with ranks.

No, one cube is triangulated and the other is not (the "untriangulated"). The fact is only one of the cubes is triangulated. So when I refer to the untriangulated cube, it cannot be inferred that it resides anywhere with relation to the second cube because there is no triangulation.

So while one cube is triangulated, and one untriangulated (or in this case one ranked player and one unranked player), their position cannot be grouped because only one is known. (In this case, it would be like calling a Plat V player "Gold V" because his duo partner bought a Gold V account; though the Plat V player never used the account.)

ah well, i happily gifted them money as long as the game had been good enough to earn the support...so that has nothing to do with being cheap, it´s really just about being dissapointed by the design choices over the past 2seasons - and season 7 so far does nothing to turn it around.
