Yo! You guys ready for another CCOS results? No, wait, don't answer. You're getting them anyway! But first comes the judge accreditment as always. This one is particularly special because it's a solo act. Yes, we had one volunteer judge this month (and me, but I don't count) and this is actually his second month in a row judging! Everyone give some serious nods of appreciation to....

Dyslexai!

This guys saved my bacon this month big time, and even had the patience to deal with me forgetting to send him the scoresheet two weeks late! Just keep that in mind when reading his feedback, he did all of that on not even half the time as usual.

#Anyway......

The winner of the May CCOS is:

#Ushio, The Sharpshooter of the Deep by Keagn! With a total of 182/200 (91%). Congratulations!

#Runner-ups

|Place|-----------------------------Concept----------------------------------|------------Author-------------|---------Score-------- |- |2 | Eden, Guardian Angel | Fury and Emperor | 176/200 (88%) | |3 | Vaeil, The Last Archon | Auryiel | 170/200 (85%) | |4 | Zalt, The Hextech Baron | MalphiteThePower| 162/200 (81%) | |5 | Floe, The Blizzard's Last Breath | TheLastimzy | 159/200 (79.5%) |

#And YOU get something, and YOU get something!

Don't fret if you didn't make the leaderboards, you'll still be entered into the CCOS Official Archive as well as a good chance at getting some useful feedback to your concept from this month's judges.

Find your concept's feedback here! Steps to access:

  1. click link
  2. page 1 (Final Count) is a quick way to see all the scores, switch to Page 2 (Judging) by clicking the tab at the bottom. This is where the specific feedback is.
  3. be sure to scroll to the right to find the feedback for your concept. The spacing can get weird do don't be afraid to zoom out a bit to scroll more evenly!

Be sure to tell me of you have any trouble accessing the document, I'll be sure to help out as much as I can and can give you your score directly if needed.

#Next Month!

Judges. Always need em! E-mail me at '[email protected]' with your IGN (in-game username) if at all interested. There's absolutely no harm in giving it a shot! All you need is an interest in concepts, time and an opinion. So unless you're an old time-locked wizard or a unfeeling monstrosity from another dimension you're eligible to judge!

Also, to note on this. There is absolutely no harm in giving judging a shot but having to walk away for whatever reason, time constraints, family, emergencies or otherwise. This all purely voluntary at all points in the process, the only catch is I can only use the scores of someone who finished all the concepts.

#Announcment!

The CCOS is in need of a co-host! And by co-host I mean someone willing to host in the month of August, as I will be out of the country and not near an internet source for the better part of the month. I'll be sure to announce this separately as well but you heard it here first! I'll help out as much as possible but it'll still come down to needing an enthusiastic, a willingness to nag a few judges from time to time, and be an additional judge if volunteers are low.

You give me too much credit, Arma. :P I wasn't about to just leave you hanging.

But yes, I was a judge this month, so if any of you have any questions about my feedback, or just questions for me in general, feel free to ask. I'll get back with you as soon as I can. Congrats to our winner and everyone that entered, like always, you guys rock! I hope my feedback is actually helpful and I didn't come off as too much of a jerk. As Arma mentioned, I was under a bit of a crunch to get that all done.

Considering I ended up getting distracted half way through the month by uni work, I'm totally okay with coming forth. Especially considering the fact I only placed middle of the pack when it comes to Lore.

As an aside, Zalt was meant to have a second piece of lore from a first person perspective where he recounts what exactly happens during the expedition into Kumungu as if someone had asked him. It would've also explained the reason his lines towards Nid are significantly less light hearted than his usual stuff. I left it on a USB somewhere and never got to finish it, which is unfortunate.

BTW, grats to Keagn. I think anyone would be hard pressed to say Ushio didn't deserve first place.

Kinda sad that Soter's kit was hard to understand/ not taken well. We spent about a month thinking about him and decided to finally make the post when we saw the contest, also would have helped if I was better at explaining things. I could have explained his abilities in about 1-2 minutes if I had a way to make a video of it, but words, I can't words.

Anyways, Thank you for all the time you both put into this and I appreciate the feedback!

First and foremost, congrats to Keagn. There's always next month for me... (which I think is already posted if I'm not mistaken).

Secondly, I saw in the results that there were some "0" in the MIN results. Surely this was taken from the blank entries. Did this have any effect on the AVG results?

To be clear, I'm not trying to attack the validity or set up of the contest in any way, just a innocent inquiry.

And yes, I admit it: I was too lazy to do the math on mobile.
