What if Crit Chance was changed in the way Ashe uses it but for all Champions?

I think it would get rid of a whole lot of luck based damage. So I thought of an overall concept to replace the crit chance stat into what I call the Sharpness/Impact-Concept and a HUGE slew of concepts to change every crit chance item and add a couple of new ones. You may also discover that none of these items give both attack speed and Sharpness/Impact. I also intend to create 2 sub-roles for Marksmen. One which uses high damage auto attacks with low attack speed and builds Impact, armor pen and AD (like Jhin or Cait) and one which uses mixed on-hit damage with massive attack speed (like Kog'Maw and Kai'sa).

So what is that concept of mine? It's quite simple. Sharpness & Impact increase all NORMAL damage dealt by auto attacks for the mentioned percentage except for some empowered ones which are currently also not affected by critical hits, like Draven's Q and Vayne's Q and are supposed to replace crit chance as a stat which is to dependent on luck in my opinion. Sharpness is for melee champions while Impact is for ranged ones. And both of course cap at 100%.

But I dont want to completely get rid of critical damage. I want it to rather be a niche "type" of damage which can be amplified by certain items.

Now without further ado here are the items and reworked items I thought of, including low tier and mid tier items (and a couple of items that have nothing to do with this concept :3).

Disclaimer: I tried my best to balance them but I didn't do the exact maths for their gold efficiency. There may be UP or OP items and I didn't change around any Champion stat in here and I beg you to not be a d*ck about it. Thank you.


Hexblaster

Materials:

  • 400 Gold

Stats:

  • +12 attack damage

Gunner's Gloves (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • 350 Gold

Stats:

  • +5 attack damage
  • +10 on-hit physical damage against minions
  • UNIQUE, Passive - + 3% movement speed

Quickdraw-Quiver (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • 550 Gold

Stats:

  • +15% attack speed
  • +10% attack speed for 3 seconds after killing an enemy unit

Silencer (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • 600 Gold

Stats:

  • +12% Impact
  • UNIQUE, Passive - +8% Impact when auto attacking a target from inside a bush.

Recurve Bow (Reworked; Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Quickdraw-Quiver
  • 450 Gold (1000 total)

Stats:

  • +25% attack speed
  • +15 on-hit physical damage

Endless Magazine (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Gunner's Gloves
  • Hexblaster
  • 350 Gold (1100 total)

Stats:

  • +20 attack damage
  • +12 physical on-hit damage
  • UNIQUE, Passive: +5% Movement speed

Kwicc's Hexscope (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Silencer
  • 600 Gold (1200 total)

Stats:

  • +25% Impact
  • UNIQUE, Active - Quickscope: Your next auto attack has increased range (+75) and is guaranteed to 'crit' for 140% damage. (Cooldown: 25); Resets attack animations.

Mini Mass Driver (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Hexblaster x2
  • 400 Gold (1200 total)

Stats:

  • +30 attack damage
  • Passive - + 15 on-hit true damage against structures and minions

Rapid Firecannon -> Hex-Firecannon (Reworked; Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Kwicc's Hexscope
  • Endless Magazine
  • 200 Gold (2600 total)

Stats:

  • +40 attack damage
  • +30% Impact
  • Moving and attacking generates "Energize" stacks, up to 100. When fully "Energized", your next basic attack gains FIRECANNON.
  • UNIQUE – FIRECANNON: Your next basic attack gains 35% increased range (up to a maximum of +150 range) and deals 50 - 120 (based on level) bonus on-hit magic damage (affected by your Impact).
  • Attacks become Energized 25% faster.
  • UNIQUE, Passive: +5% Movement speed

Hextech-GR [Gauss Rifle] Mk X (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Kwicc's Hexscope
  • Mini Mass Driver
  • 700 Gold (3000 total)

Stats:

  • +30 attack damage
  • +30% Impact
  • +30 on-hit true damage (affected by Impact)
  • UNIQUE, Active - Quickscope: Your next auto attack has increased range (+100) and is guaranteed to 'crit' for 175% damage. (Cooldown: 25); Resets attack animations.

Runaan's Hurricane (Reworked; Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Recurve Bow
  • Endless Magazine
  • 900 Gold (3000 total)

Stats:

  • +30 % attack speed
  • +20 attack damage
  • +20 on-hit physical damage
  • +7% Movement speed
  • UNIQUE, Passive - Quantity over Quality: If you have 0% 'Impact' you gain an aditional 30% attack speed and when basic attacking, bolts are fired at up to 2 enemies near the target, each dealing 40% AD physical damage.
  • UNIQUE, Passive - Quality over Quantity: If you have any 'Impact' the 'Impact' you gain from other items is 1.5 times as effective and increased by a further 10%.

Statikk Shiv -> Ionian Spark (replacement) (ranged only)

Materials:

  • Recurve Bow
  • Hexblaster
  • Gunner's Gloves
  • 1050 Gold (2800 total)

Stats:

  • +35% attack speed
  • +25 attack damage
  • +25 on-hit magic damage
  • +5% movement speed
  • UNIQUE, Passive - Thunderlord's Decree: Hitting an enemy champion or tower with auto attacks applies a stack of "Thunderlords Decree". At 4 stacks this champion or tower is struck by lightning damaging them for 60-150 true damage. (20 seconds cooldown against one tower)

Zaunite Anarchy (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Mini Mass Driver
  • Recurve Bow
  • Endless Magazine
  • 600 Gold (3800 total)

Stats:

  • +50 attack damage
  • +40% attack speed
  • +25 on-hit true damage (this damages structures too)
  • +5% movement speed
  • UNIQUE, Passive - Anarchy: After standing still for 1 second you gain 10% increased attack speed after each attack up to a maximum of 40% additional attack speed. Moving drops all accumulated stacks immidiately but if all possible stacks were accumulated before moving you gain a decreasing 20% movement speed buff for 3 seconds.

  • UNIQUE, Passive: Gain 0% - 20% (based on Impact/Sharpness [the higher of the 2]) additional cooldown reduction. This bonus does not include the Impact/Sharpness given by this item.
  • UNIQUE, Passive: Auto attacks restore .3% of your maximum mana for every 10% of Impact/Sharpness.

Shield-Projecting Hex-Cannon

Eagle Eye Telescope (Ranged only)

Stats:

  • +20 attack damage
  • UNIQUE, Active - Eagle Eye: You see through the fog of war in a narrow cone in curser direction for up to 3 seconds while standing still and reveal camouflaged enemies in the revealed area. Movement or attacks cancel the effect. (Cooldown: 60)

Virtue of Vigilance (Ranged only)

Materials:

  • Last Whisper
  • Eagle Eye Telescope
  • 300 Gold (2600 total)

Stats:

  • +50 attack damage
  • UNIQUE, Active - Eagle Eye: You see through the fog of war in a cone in curser direction for up to 3 seconds while standing still and reveal camouflaged enemies in the revealed area. Movement or attacks cancel the effect. (Cooldown: 45; Broader and longer cone than Eagle Eye Telescope)
  • UNIQUE, Passive - Last Whisper: + 35% bonus armor penetration

How is that different from just giving more AD?

Why do you even need to change Crit? It isn't even real RNG, since the odds increase for every attack that doesn't crit.
