A legitimate Summoning Champion
I saved up for almost 3 months to bye Yorick. It assumed he would actually be a necromancer type champion. He was not. Yorick is not a necromancer. He is a tank that just so happens to summon stupid low health minions and an ult that is worse than Annie's. League honestly needs a true summoning champion, one whose power is based off of the ability to summon units. But currently Riot is moving in the opposite direction. 2 Summoners, Malazhar and Zyra got major debuffs to their summoned units. I see how powerful mages who summon could un-balance the game. But a unit whose main attacks are summoning would be much better.(
does not count. They don't even move for God's sakes.) Here is my new idea for a mage champion that is based off of summoning.
Necros, Lord of the Dead
Lore: All things must pass, from this world into another. It is inevitable, at least for most people. However Necros was never most people. When the world was young and Ionia barely knew the existence of anything else, there lived a King. This King was mightier than most men, but not in body. When he was young an attempted assassination crippled him and left a terrible poison in his body, which slowly destroyed the rest of it. As a result he devoted his studies to learn the power of the mind. Capable of causing changes in his body simply by meditating, the King wondered if it was possible to heal oneself in a way that would reverse aging. The King meditated each day for an hour, reversing a day's worth of aging every day. However the meditation did not come without a price. Forced to tap into his dormant magical powers, the King discovered that he was speeding up the rate at which the poison spread throughout his body. The result was terrifying. Despite staying alive, the King's body decayed as if he were dead. Desperately the King put himself in a catatonic state, slowly eliminating the poison from his body while he lay almost dead. For ages he laid in rest before the Harrowing occurred. The incredible power of the magic awoke Necros, and fueled him with incredible, god-like energies. He soon discovered the dead could speak with him and he could raise bodies and implant them inside of he bodies. He journeyed into the Shadow Isles, convinced he could slowly reverse the effects of the terrifying spell. However a mysterious centaur almost killed him, driving Necros away from the Shadow Isles. Filled with purpose, Necros travels Runeterra seeking to grow his powers enough to destroy the Shadow Isles completely.
Passive: Units that die nearby Necros will rarely leave behind tombstones. When Necros uses an ability he raises a Dead Warrior from the Tombstone, consuming it. Necros can have up to 10 Dead Warriors active at one time. Dead Warriors push lane once inside it and count as champions. Dead Warriors take 1 hit to destroy (Increase by one each level). They deal 20(50% of AP) damage per hit and attack once per second. Dead Warriors cannot be killed by Minions.
Q: Fires a magical bolt that stuns an enemy champion for 1s and causes all Dead Warriors to charge the champion.
W: Passive: Each unit a Dead Warrior kills increases its damage by 10
Active: Summons two Dead Warriors adjacent to Necros.
E: Kills one active Dead Warrior to heal this unit and the closest allied champion for 25 +10% of max health.
R: Kills all active Dead Warriors to summon a Dead General. The Dead General summons Dead Warriors from the units it kills and increases the max number by 5 while alive. The Dead General has 100 +( every Dead Warrior sacrificed) Health and deals 50 (25% of AP) damage per hit. The Dead General automatically targets enemy champions.
