Must I be the first person to say it? The amount of CC in this game is ridiculous. There is no clear counter to CC, other than summoner 1 No ability exists that allows one to escape CC. At this point the amount of CC prevents battles from being more strategical. Many lower level battles turn into a victory for whomever has greater CC. I'm not saying get rid of CC, but create a clear delineation between champions that can CC, and champions that deal damage. Don't combine them. I like the idea of tanks with CC, but can you please remove CC from units with the capability to deal large amounts of damage. (Cough cough YasuoMorgana ) Instead shift it too units that deal very little damage Janna Soraka so they can become viable supports again.

In my opinion this will make champion picks more interesting, as well as moving CC back to low-damage supports.

I like the topic of this thread, but everything else is inaccurate as hell.

First, There is the tenacity stat and the slow resist stat that reduce cc.

Second, there are several abilities to counter cc: Nocturne and sivir's spell shields. Gangplank's oranges (Strong as fuck) Morgana's black shield, fiora's parry. There are also untargetable abilities to dodge cc coming at you.

Next, QSS cleanses cc. Zhonya can put you in stasis while under the effects of some CC.

Stormraider's surge grants slow resist.

To the next point.

Yasuo's cc is gated behind stacking his q and is not difficult to dodge. He is perfectly okay with the amount of cc in his kit.

Morgana's snare isn't a huge issue, as that's where a large portion of her power budget lies. It doesn't even do a CRAZY amount of damage either.

Finally, Soraka and Janna are fucking monsters and are already more than viable. Janna has been top 3 best supports in the game since... jesus, I don't even know. Since I started playing this game?

This post is literally horrible. Sorry, but it really is.

I find that you are missing not a part of the point, but the entire point.

They aren't giving every champ in the game point and click CC. Tanks need CC to have something to bring to the table other than Damage, which they deal to much of. The Tank update is going to move CC over from super reliable to skill based. It will take skill to land that Maokai root now.

And about the other champs you mentioned, you are an idiot.

Morg is a CC support. She deals damage because she needs to. Soraka has CC and does not need any more. A CC and heal bot would be cancerous as fuck. Janna has plenty of CC as well.

Don't even get me started on Yasuo. If you think that he needs his CC removed, you are a dumbass.

CC is a part of the game. Here, I'll help. item 3157 item 3139.

Damage is the real problem right now. CC is worthless if you can just burst everyone down before you get CC'd.

The problem with CC anymore is the CC chain. There is no counterplay at all once you get hit with the first CC.

I totally agree. WAY too much cc in this game, so many fights are just autowon by having most cc. Would be strategically more interesting if cc was not so much.
