Why exactly is Yorick being nerfed? He has an abysmal 2.7% pick rate and he isn't even banned 1% of the time. There are champions much stronger than Yorick to worry about. He's a basic splitpusher that can't fight more than two or three enemies, sucks in teamfights, and his kit doesn't have annoying gimmicks in it that can't easily be played around. Zed is getting no nerf and he is much more annoying to fight against than Yorick.
Yorick is being nerfed because his Archlight skin is too good. I don't know, I don't play him. All I know is that the splash art for Archlight Yorick makes him look like he would make a perfect white Plainswalker from Magic the Gathering. I mean, look at it! That's all I wanted to draw attention to.
Is he being picked in professional play or something?
Idk why they wanted nerf yorick and garen. They have no dash and expecially yorick is pretty immobile. I hope the yorick/garen nerf hurt only early game. Their mid/late game are alredy bad because adc and mage keep them zoned.

Because he is stomping people in normal games and low elo ranked and they complained.

He's being nerfed because he's the strongest pick into Garen, and we can't have Garen winning less than 56% of games
Lol this is just a circle jerk of yorick players crying about a change based in hard data. Low elo right? So plat and gold are also low elo where he is 51+% win rate ?
Its not just his ability to dish out insane amounts of damage its his ability to push lanes harder than any other champion.
He needs a rework or more nerfs till he sits at 49.5%-50.5% win rate.
Lets talk about the OP's blatant confirmation bias and lack of statistical knowledge. The fact that the pick rate is so low means that the win rate isn't accurate it's most likely artificially deflated because in ranked play more plays = more wins.
Less players play urgot but the more that did and started to get proficient at his kit would then start to utilize the broken aspects of it more. Resulting in a even higher win rate and illustrating his overbearing lane presence.
