As far as short characters are concerned, we have the short character with a huge hammer, the short character with a magical staff, the short character with a cannon, a short character riding a big robot/lizard, the short scientists and the short ninja... and the short fish if you count Fizz.
So as far as yordles are concerned, what other ideas could we have with another girl Yordle to join the ranks of Lulu, Trist and Poppy?
I think I would really love to see an elderly woman Yordle.

I think one would be cool that doesn't repeatedly get the same treatment of a teddy bear. All the female yordles have their own unique, in-depth personalities but they're mostly treated the same way (just another kawaii yordle with no more personality than a cardboard box) and that's frustrating to those that play said yordles and like their personalities. So what if there was a female yordle that is very serious in character, but not repulsive in such?
An example I can think of is: A yordle, let's call her Joan, was in service to the Bandle City military as a field artillery expert. For whatever reason, she was exposed to the negative energy of the void and corrupted much like Kassadin and Malzahar were. She now wanders Runeterra as an outcast, knowing that nobody would accept a twisted being as herself, and seeks a cure for her afflictions.
Now that's just one example, any yordle that breaks the stereotype of "cutie pies" so we begin seeing yordles as a more defined race would be pretty neat.

I want to see a female yordle thief, who wields a giant key as her firearm. (Yes, she's ranged.) I'm working on such a champ now!
She's pretty kawaii, but I'm trying to show her with enough emotion that she's not always kawaii all the time.
Now how could you forget the short character who turns into a large character 
If I remember correctly, there is going to be a yordle lore update and they are going to be kinda connected to human "ideals". Like Kled was representing the ideal of the noxian soldiers on the battlefield: never give up, dish out the pain recklessly.
If these rumors are true, the next (female) yordle champ should represent a mind set that isn't already represented by another yordle. Most of the yordle are kinda crazy and light hearted. Maybe a new assassin yordle, that is emotionally cold and calculative?
Region she is coming from could make some good archetypes, too. We don't have any yordles connected to zhaun, bilgewater.... The emotionally cold archetype could fit to zhaun actually. Maybe a female yordle representing the mindset "there is no moral, if a new scientific weapon makes me survive, I will use it".
There are still plenty of things a new Yordle could be:
A Short: Brawler, An unarmed fighter, like a mini Vi/Lee Sin/Udyr. BeastMaster Undead/Shadow Isles, To be actually confirmed as a Yordle, Amumu isn't confirmed to be a Yordle. Pirate, We got a Ninja Yordle for Ionia, but no Pirate Yordle for Bilgewater. Zaunite, Ziggs would've been perfect but he's a Piltie, would be even better if she's in Zaun's Law Enforcement. Mutant/**Cybernetic ** Targonian, A Greco-Roman theme Yordle will be unique. Old Lady, All these Old Man Champs and not even one Old Lady Champ yet. Elementalist, Kennan is somewhat this, but he only has one element, what about someone who can control all of them. Psychokinetic Archer/Crossbowman, Teemo is kinda like this but he uses a Blowgun and not a real ADC. Healer/Witch Doctor, Could be another Voodoo Lands Champ, also there is only one Support Yordle another one will be a good addition. Bandit/Thief/Outlaw, I think this maybe somewhat Kled. Assassin Evil Villain(Female Version), Is Lulu considered evil? I think she's just mischievous, even if she was evil, she seems be more like Veigar's Henchwoman. Clown/Jester, like a mini Shaco but cuter and probably not as mean. Royalty/Noble, Who is leading the Yordles? It's not Poppy anymore. Someone's Parent/Sibling/Relative, No Champs has one of their Parents as a Champ and no Yordle are confirmed to be relatives except Kled calling everyone Cousin, I wonder/hope when Riot rework Lulu and Veigar, what if they're actually Brother and Sister? that will put more background on why they're friends. Note: Corki is going be Tristana's Grandpa, when he gets rework.
That is all the different things a Yordle isn't yet, that I can think of right now. I do hope Riot makes two new female Yordles so it will be possible to make a full team of Female Yordles and have Female Yordles vs Male Yordles battles.

I'd like a Yordle that was what Poppy used to be. A more down to earth "Just don't eff with me" kinda person. Don't get me wrong, I like crazy, but every Yordle in LoL at the moment seems kinda... Nuts.
