Flair Von Harrison: The tamer of the Void

...They say no man has ever gone to the void and came back alive. Well such is not the case with a certain introverted man who lives in a castle far off in Ionia's wilderness. A man Who fought proudly during his adventure. Nobody really knows why he stays to himself so much, especially after returning to the praises of the people. but never the less, people still praise him as a hero.

...Or so they say.

The truth behind my journey is much more complicated that what the legends say. It's actually funny how those feeble people like to romanticize and exaggerate the truth. The truth of who I am, and the truth behind the curse that simultaneously saved, and destroyed my life. The curse of a monster sealed within. In order to save myself back in those void caverns

*I Initially went on an expedition to hunt the monster known as Xo'Rath. The people believe i went on this journey alone with my Fiance. the truth is i hired many men, bounty hunters and the like - low rate scum. we all went on the expedition into the Void. but what we found once we were in it, was something horrifying. Maddening darkness and monsters everywhere. *

Foolishly i went on. My small crew was already so tired and exhausted, but i pushed. I pushed on. About 3 days in we found a small cavern to rest in. I'm not sure if fate it'self or the devil intervened but what we met in that cavern killed all of my men. the very monster we were sent to hunt - Xo'Rath

*With almost no energy left i used the last of my magical power to seal the monster within myself, using a spell that belonged to the Von Harrison Clan "ETERNAL BINDING!!!". If all of my predecessors were proud beast and monster hunters then what what was I? I wasn't proud, no, i was horrified of this madness, madness i couldn't stop sooner, because I was too late. the confusion had ended, I noticed i could now see in the darkness clearly. The first thing i did was Look around for survivors, but alas before me was only a Mass of corpses. Finally, I looked down and saw her - my dear, Alexis, lifeless. *

And for some reason, i couldn't even shed a tear...

*I'm no tamer, Im no hero, My own recklessness led to her death, and I fear that if i leave this castle...Those around me will be placed in danger. This is the Punishment that i deserve, or so i believed... but deep down, Above all my only wish is to rid myself of this beast, and slaughter it once and for all *

Passive

Struggle for humanity: As Von harrison battles he gains more and more fury. once his fury bar is filled "Void Rampage" is triggered for 5 seconds. After that Von Harrison's fury will slowly die down for 3 seconds, and he will grow tired returning to normal and regaining health. During this cooldown Von Harrison cannot cast any spells.

Void Rampage: Von harrison gains increased Ability Power equal to 5% of his Base AP and 3% of his base Health.

Q:

Void force:

Active: A Giant Hand comes from Von Harrison's back and swipes at a target location in a crescent shape dealing damage that scales with both AP and health . This Ability can Also redirect Proectiles if timed properly.

Passive: At level 6, this Ability automatically evolves a passive. Von Harrison's basic attacks deal 75% of his Magic damage as opposed to dealing attack damage when fighting

W:

Lockdown

Von harrison fires a magical projectile at any enemy champion and large neutral monster, this marks them. they take 1% increased damage from von harrison's basic attacks. and the next strike on them will stun them for 1 second. each consecutive strike will slow their movement speed by -5% capping at -20% this ability grants true sight on the target for 4 seconds after being cast.

E:

Bloodthirsty Pounding:

Active: the hand on von Harrison's back grows and pounds down on a target location dealing a percentage of both his **health and Ability power **as Magic damage.

Passive: Von Harrison gains natural lifesteal returning 20% of the damage he deals as health. when tired, this is reduced to 5%

R:

Xo'Rath Rises. 90 second cooldown

Von harrison loses control of his Human Side and Xo'Rath releases herself from his body, in the process Von Harrison is sealed in her back as she takes control. During this time Von Harrison deals ((%HP) + AP) as additional attack damage gains (+3/5/8% of current spell vamp) extra spell vamp. every attack slows an opponent by 5% for 2 seconds..

Each second Von Harrison steadily loses health. Reactivate to end Xo'rath rises. When this ability ends, all the rage Von Harrison has stored Up is depleted and Von Harrison goes on cooldown for the next 3 seconds.

Design Philosophy

Von Harrison is an immobile AP bruiser who specializes in the jungle and top using hand-to hand combat. His passive introduces a rage mechanic that allows his attacks to be buffed according to how much rage he posesses. By design von harrison does not scale with Attack damage - so much so that by level 6, he doesnt auto-attack using attack damage at all. Though I'm unsure of specific numbers , i designed him to scale with both health, and AP while making sure he cant be abused as an AD bruiser champion.

Due to the buffs he receives in His abilities, it makes up for the use of using AP to auto attack. To balance this you'd have to make it so that He can scale just as easily building either health, squishy AP fighter, or both.

Due to his Immobile nature he is highly encouraged to build a lot of health and as such his damage should scale slightly more with his health than with flat ability power.

in terms of Apperance He's really a guy in a long coat whth giant purple/blue hands sprouting out of his back. When he uses his ulti the void beast, Xo'Rath takes control. She's twice von Harrison's size, and Von Harrison himself is seated in a Pod in HER Back - yes it's a her.

Dialogue would be joking exchanges between the two.

I did a really quick sketch of what the dude would look like in photoshop http://i.imgur.com/dacS4KR.png

First off, I love the idea of a split-personality champion. I'm also loving the artwork.

There are a few problems with the kit, though.

First off, what does Von Harrison use as a secondary resource? You mention Fury, but that's only for his passive, and this guy doesn't have the vibe of someone who uses fury. In his ultimate description, you mention Rage, which is what Gnar uses. Was this just a typo? Honestly, this guy seems like the perfect candidate for mana.

Also, his passive is problematic. Let's assume that late into the game, V.H has 1500health and 500 AP, which isn't too unrealistic for a fighter/Mage hybrid. His passive would give him an extra almost 100 extra AP, which in turn would be his AD. As AP is much more gold-efficient than AD, he would be able rush items that give him more AP, and ergo AD, faster. With the bonus from his passive, he would be dealing almost 450 damage per attack. Also, his passive would allow his abilities to do far too much damage as they synergies with health and AP.

Also, adding 30% spell vamp to the guy (Life-steal is what you want if he gains health on auto-attacks, not spell vamp) is just a bad idea. There's a reason people hate LeeSin ... well, a lot of reasons, but one of them is spell vamp. Your champ would be practically unkillable with this passive.

Anyway, those are just some thoughts. I still think it's a really cool idea, and would totally want a champ like this in game if you could rework the power levels a bit.

Keep up the good work!
