If this is the inspiration behind Katarina's newest skin, why are her pants black and gold ? Are there plans to make her pants look more like this picture ?

Why does the top not look more similar ? Why some kind of weird under shirt ?

What is going on with kats eyes ? They seem to be painted red and her facial skin is whiter than usual. (guessing this is intended)

I liked her hair solid black better but this pink and black is ok, looks like something jinx or vi would wear but the flowers do not fit kat either so................

2 years is a long time to wait for a skin, and who knows if kat will ever get another. Just making sure you guys give Kat your best.

Keep in mind that inspiration isn't the same thing as creating a copy. :] We use a bunch of references for inspiration, not just one!

With that being said, the Warring Kingdoms Katarina that's on PBE is pretty close to the final version.

Looks like I'm a little late to the party, but I suppose it's best that I do express my feelings towards this skin.

Just another declared Katarina main here, and I have to agree with the majority of the community that Warring Kingdoms Katarina is indeed underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of a new Katarina skin. I'm really glad that Riot even considered giving her a new one. I just want the last skin for her foreseeable future to be something of grandeur. As of now, Katarina has 7 skins with an RP value that is 975 or less. Considering the importance that I believe she has to the League of Legends image (This is a champion seen on nearly every piece of promotional art and has been showcased in every cinematic) I personally feel that Katarina deserves at the least one a 1350 RP skin. If that means we don't see it for another year, then so be it.

Does this skin here have the potential to be that valuable? Absolutely. Just take Warring Kingdoms Xin Zhao for example. Is it worth that price now? No, not quite. The closest thing in Katarina's wardrobe to that value would definitely be Sleigh Belle. That is a very unique skin with a gorgeous splash art. If this skin can be on the same level as the Snowdown concept, my discomfort would be soothed. I only ask that my opinion be heard by those who are interested. Thank you, and have a nice day. : )
