Akali - How long will she be left in this horrific condition ?

46% Winrate

I understand some people do not like playing against assassins but to leave a champion in this condition for this long seems unjust.

Something needs to be done about her E, it is kinda worthless like it is.

I believe her passive has been her problem all along and unlike my favorite champion Katarina, it is not her Identity. Before all of the nerfs her passive allowed her to play as a bruiser when behind and as a unstopable assassin when even or ahead. There is very little reason not to nerf / change her passive and once again allow E to proc Q. Her ultimate range should be buffed back up to what it was before also. Her shroud losing the MR and ARM was a good move.

The mere act of picking a champion like Akali is a trade off, she has no wave clear and very little team fight ability. She needs to be better at being the assassin she was / is meant to be.

What do you guys think ?

BEFORE VOTING, ask yourself how you would feel if this was "your" favorite champion languishing outside the realm of viability.

Rework her make her healthier. Her main problem is that she's one of the most poorly designed champs in the game.

Akali's being considered for a rework down the line. I think when they take a look at the assassin class as a whole. So like, Spring of next year maybe? I don't know, but it'd be nice.

My favorite champ is Quinn, you didn't have to ask about being non-viable. XD

You kids realize that akalis e and w are garbage right and literally unusable She needs a 5 or 6 items to do anything while other assassins start picking up steam as soon as the game starts xd

I think riot over nerfed her last time.

She requires no brain, deals good dmg and has super healing. Why buff her? Diana requires a little more skill and has mana, she is probably the balanced version of Akali. I hope they do something like that to Riven, nerf her to the ground and release similar champion with mana.

Akali isn't that weak. I hit rank 5 mastery with her a few months ago, and I can attest that Akali is a lot stronger than people make her out to be. I have played her in ranked (Gold ELO) with mixed success due to her lack of CC, but I almost always win lane with her.

She simply takes a tiny bit more skill to play now compared to her pre-nerfed state. Her Q can still be proc'ed instantly if you get the attack animation right, and her reworked ultimate is now a lot harder to escape from.

By any chance are you getting item 3100 on Akali? If you are, stop. Her burst isn't as potent as before now that she actually needs to AA after her R to proc her Q.

I generally run: item 3146 to item 3157 to item 3089 to item 3135 to item 3116 or item 3001 with item 3020

With this build she can duel almost anyone in the game. I use Akali as a counter to Fizz and Zed

I recommend roaming often as Akali. She is extremely powerful in targeting priority targets due to her stickiness.

Her E though is a bit underwhelming. It has a 1 second CD at max rank, but it doesn't do enough damage to justify spamming it for the energy cost. I generally use it once or twice to soften up a target or to AOE heal from my spell vamp in a large minion wave.

Her W definitely needs some improvement later in the game. It is countered so easily by oracles or a vision ward.

Akali overall isn't strong, but she isn't that weak either. She can't 100-0 an ADC with no counter play like Rengar or Talon, but in exchange she packs a lot more dueling power and is very hard to peel off once she gets rolling.

If I see the instant under turret burst-n-heal of the good ol' days... oh, man. I'll have my mouse over uninstall waiting to hear the name LeBlanc.

she has a front loaded kit. put a 5 second CD on her R and you can make her W slow a lot better.

Akali is a incredibly unfun champ and still really strong. The combination of insane burst, insane (really insane) mobility and infinite sustain + 0 skillshots is toxic. If she gets buffed, she will be played all the time and maybe even nerfed harder than before. She is more or less outplayable with stealth detection tho so I guess shes "balanced".

The thing with assassins is that they are suppose to be extreme risk and reward champs. Riot has really been enforced this season. Many of the assassins are balanced currently and this includes akali. I can agree you that assassins have struggled this year however I find this to be true more with people who just pick them up and don't take the time to master the assassin playstyle. I mean people who play akali 50 games have a 50% win rate that goes up to 55% at 125 games.

I think she is fine and needs nothing changed.

She's getting a rework a little bit after the Poppy/Yorick/Taric fiascos, I remember reading something about it Her kit just has a horrible design. Point-click activateable nuke Q, useless stealth mechanic W, useless low-damage E, small-ranged situational ult. Not to mention. Her passive sucks, lmao.

Riot is actually buffing Lux , who has a alarmingly high win rate for how safe and easy she is to play. Meanwhile Akali who (possesses no "skillshots") has a terrible early game is languishing in a pitiful condition.

Raptamei8/23/2015, 8:54:42 PM1 votes

Whenever Akali is good, people whine and cry and QQ and bitch.

Riot leaves her in a useless state because YOU want her to be that way.
