Sophia - The Swaying Snowflake

Lore: Sophia is a mysterious snow mage from the Freljord. She has gathered four companions to her side with her charismatic personality, giving these lonely warriors a sense of belonging. She always stays very quiet about herself.

Looks: Long, white fur clothing, long white hair and a magical orb.

Role: Mage, Mid

Basic attack range: 550 units

Passive - Shapeshifting Whenever you channel a spell for its full duration, you dash up to 150 units in your move direction with your next movement and gain a shield, that blocks damage, scaling with AP, while you are dashing.

Q - White Death Cooldown: 5 seconds Range: 300 units You channel for 1,5 seconds. In this time, you deal magic damage to nearby enemies and reduce their movement speed by 25%. When you kill an enemy with White Death, you regenerate 4% (+1% per 100 AP) of your missing health. The range of this ability increases by 50 units for every enemy champion in a 550 unit range.

W - Cold Hull Cooldown: 18 seconds You channel for up to 1,5 seconds. You gain a shield, that blocks damage and lasts until you stop channeling. You can't be stunned or silenced while channeling. If more than 50% of the shield are remaining after 1,5 seconds, you deal magic damage to all enemy champions in 650 units range and snare them for 1,2/1,4/1,6/1,8/2 seconds.

E - Wind of Sorrow Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Range: 475 units, 35° angle You channel for 1,5 seconds. You deal magic damage to enemies in a cone in front of you, silence them and make them unable to attack. Their movement speed is decreased by 80% as long as they are in the area and 0,5 seconds afterwards.

R - Snowstorm Cooldown: 210/180/150 seconds Range: 700 units You mark an area and start casting for 0,5 seconds, then you vanish and create a snowstorm with 500/550/600 units diameter at the marked location for 5 seconds. You have sight of the area inside the snowstorm and 100 units arount it. Enemies inside the snowstorm are dealt magic damage every 0,5 seconds. The damages increases to 200% over 1,5 seconds. Enemies inside the snowstorm have their range of vision decreased by 50%. 3 seconds after vanishing, you reappear at the center of the snowstorm and gain bonus armor and magic resistance for 7 seconds.

Thoughts about gameplay: WIP

Champion Design & Lore

Unfortunately, you kept this part really short. My worries are that she is a bit close to Lissandra thematically (snow mage VS ice witch), but if the lore is made well, it might work. I would like you to flesh this out more, tho. Who are these 4 companions you mention? How did she meet them? Are they actually important for her lore?

The looks seem pretty basic, we already got a mage with an orb Ahri. Would be great if her visuals could stand out a bit more.


Gameplay & Kit

Seems that you intended to create a battlemage here and you succeeded to keep the traits of this subclass in check. What lane would you think she is played?

Passive: A bit overloaded in my opinion... look what this gives you all.

  • health regeneration
  • dash
  • cooldown reduction
  • increased ability effects

Maybe just leave it at the health regen part and maybe the dash.

Q: Basically a lingering Vladimir E? Seems fine in my opinion.

W: I am a bit confused about the description. So the max time you can channel is 1.5 seconds, why do you write "if you channel 1.5 seconds or longer"?

Seems a bit too strong as an escaping tool against ganks IMO. Gives you a shield to survive damage, makes you unstoppable for 1,5 seconds (if I understood that right) and then additionally roots everyone around you. Ganking her would become almost impossible, especially with the extra health regen and dash from her passive. I think you should be able to stun her, but the channel doesn't end.

E: You put too much defense in the kit, IMO. I would remove the attack disable and just give it a silence. Otherwise the champion is basically unbeatable for juggernauts and other melee champions.

R: Seems fine and interesting.
