Passive - Frost Shot: Unchanged

  • Avarosa's Focus: While Avarosa's Focus is inactive, Ashe's basic attacks grant Focus for 4 seconds on attack, stacking up to 5 times. After 4 seconds, each stack thereafter will fall off every second. Once she has 5 stacks, her next basic ability will be enhanced, consuming the stacks.

Q - Ranger's Flurry: Ashe gains bonus attack speed for 3 seconds and causes each of her basic attacks to fire a flurry of 3 arrows. The Flurry of 3 arrows only applies on hit effects only once, and deal modified damage.

  • Winter's Flurry - Avarosa's Focus: Ashe gains bonus attack speed for 5 seconds and causes each of her basic attacks to fire a flurry of 5 arrows. The Flurry of 5 arrows now applies on hit effects twice, and deal modified damage.

W - Ice Volley: Ashe fires 5 arrows in a cone in the target direction, dealing physical damage to enemies, and applying Frost Shot to enemies. Each arrow stops at the first enemy they strike.

  • Royal Volley - Avarosa's Focus: Ashe fires 9 arrows in a cone in the target direction, dealing mixed damage to enemies, and applying Frost Shot to enemies. These arrows penetrate the target, dealing reduced damage to enemies behind enemies damaged, and slowing for half of the initial slow.

E - Hawk Shot: Ashe sends a hawk spirit toward the target location, exposing the area along its path for 2 seconds and in a large radius at its destination for 5 seconds.

  • Guiding Shot - Avarosa's Focus: Ashe sends a hawk spirit toward the target location, exposing the area along its path for 2 seconds and in a large radius at its destination for 5 seconds. Exposed enemy champions, and large monsters are marked with Avarosa's Guidance. The first projectile from Ashe's and her ally's ranged basic attacks against marked enemies turn into hawk spirits. These spirits will strike the target and then seek out additional marked targets to strike, dealing half damage to all subsequent targets. If there are no additional targets within range, the hark spirit will circle back around, attacking the initial target again. The hawk spirits apply Frost Shot.

R - Enchanted Crystal Arrow: Unchanged

It won't happen she literally just got a VO update

SSmotzer2 votes

And what does that have to do with her gameplay?

Champions can get texture updates, gameplay updates, voice updates, animation updates, etc. at any point, independently of each other. Ashe's new VO would stick around even if she gets a new model, animation, and gameplay later down the line.

Also, why would you think this update would be rushed onto the PBE? It takes months, no years, of dev testing before it hits the PBE.

Like, three years ago I flooded the concept boards with different iteration of a Lissandra update, and I got reamed by the community. They said. "Lissandra is fine" "Lissandra is balanced" "Why" "Lissandra is too new for an update" "there are plenty of champions that need a rework before Lissandra" "you need to listen to us and stop it with these concepts you narcissistic asshole." Then, a year later, Lissandra gets a major and experimental gameplay update on the PBE, which they canned, before updating her passive at the end of last year.

Not saying that I'm responsible for the thrall update. Just saying that suggesting an update for a champion who is "fine" shouldn't be frowned upon.

im just stating facts, shes strong right now after the Q buffs and she got a VO update and their not going to give her a VGU anytime soon

I'm not saying never, although I doubt it Ashe mains will throw a fit Its like when they tried to give MF a VO, JUST A VO not a rework, and it was so negatively received they had to undo it

Why would they need to give her a VGU?

Did Lissandra get a full VGU when they updated her passive? Did Maokai get a full VGU when they gave him a new voice over, ultimate, and rebalanced his kit? Did Teemo, Wukong, or Garen get VGUs on the PBE when Riot started testing new kits on them?

All I am saying is that we, as a community, shouldn't spit on people for saying something that is "fine" could maybe be better. We shouldn't down vote people because they suggested that someone's main can be better.

Well if we're not trying to make Ashe dress appropriately for the climate shes in then I really don't support it, do you even main ashe?

...You mean the Iceborn? The 6-8 foot tall Nordic-esque people who are given supernatural powers from ice and snow? Not to mention plenty of them sees comfort as weakness. If Ashe wore anything more than her cloak she would be seen as weak, especially standing next to her husband who goes outside in subzero blistering winds in just a metal skirt.

1 when was the last time you saw Ashe and Tryndamere interact in the lore? 2 Ashe wasn't always imbued with magical power, not until she bonded with the bow, but I doubt she'd just abandon her WINTER APPROPRIATE clothing just because "well I technically don't feel cold" the same reason people wear certain clothing elements consistently, its your clothing why would you not wear it if its not detracting from you in any way and still fits 3 Ashe is no wear near as bulky as most Freljordians and would have needed the heavier clothing up until she got the bow or she'd probably freeze to death

But from a gameplay stand point she doesn't need a rework at all if anyone needs a rework from freljord it'd be Tryndamere would need a full update and Gragas would need to be moved into the current lore and get a VO update and texture enhancement

Her new VO she literally calls him her love.

You do realize that everyone in the game is dressed for combat. You don't see many champions walking around in their street wear or pajamas... most of the time.

Does Ashe have heavier clothes? Sure, her queen skin has a thick dress that can keep out the cold. But Ashe's people don't embrace comforts, they see comfort as weakness. They are warriors. Ashe showing up to war in heavy armor to protect her body from enemy attacks and the cold would mark her as a coward by her people. Not to mention she is a ranger, her role in combat is to scout and stay ahead of the enemy.

3 Ashe is no wear near as bulky as most Freljordians and would have needed the heavier clothing up until she got the bow or she'd probably freeze to death

Size has nothing to do with withstanding cold. It's all about circulation. For instance, a marathon runner would have a better time surviving the cold that a fat man or a body builder.

This man is named Wim Hof, he is a marathon runner and he has trained his body to withstand the harshest temperatures without any protection, more so than any other human alive.

So Ashe being the leanest Freljordian doesn't matter much because she is canonically a marathon runner. Her fat and muscle don't protect her from the cold, her heart is powerful enough to overcome the cold.

But from a gameplay stand point she doesn't need a rework at all if anyone needs a rework from freljord it'd be Tryndamere would need a full update and Gragas would need to be moved into the current lore and get a VO update and texture enhancement

Well from that perspective no champion really needs a gameplay update. Outside of a few outlying abilities. While some see champions as half full, and simply needs a few tweaks to balance, I see champions as half empty and need larger changes to make them more engaging.

She literally asks Tryndamere what he's become, and upon killing him in game says this is how she thought it would end

Ashe is not dressed for combat at all, shes dressed like a cosplayer that googled "sexy frost archer"

Ashe has no muscle mass whatsoever and unlike someone like say Sejuani isn't comparable to a marathon runner in the slightest, unlike in Ashe: Warmother where she actually has more clothing, even if its only her legs and chest and neck its still more reasonable then in game Ashe

Gragas Gragas is one of the few remaining champions who haven't recieved a lore update to bring them into the current state of LOL, even Malphite got one Tryndamere has one of the most frusterating kits to play against and literally took the attack animation from his ultimate skin, plus his voice line's don't fit modern standards just like Darius Garen Ahri Annie Varus Zed Yasuo XinZhao JarvanIV etc etc

Ashe is fine, even better with her Q buff cause she got the Kayle E treatment. Now she needs AD scaling on ulti and a VU and Ashe will be comlpete. Then Ruot can give her 4 skins every year.
